Always packed out on a Saturday when I come here. And with good reason. The food is still great with a really nice flavoured coffee.
Breakfast again. And exceeded expectations again.
This place is pretty much part of the Central Market furniture.

The best thing about this cafe for us was that it was about the only thing open in Adelaide city on a Sunday morning. We're talking around 9-9:30am, not the crack of dawn. It turns out pretty much everything else is closed, so if you don't have a car to drive somewhere else, there's little option! Their coffee was tasty and banana bread was delicious. Whilst we didn't order their bigger breakfasts, we saw some going out which looked delicious and traditional. The staff were also super chirpy and friendly which put us in a cheery mood for the rest of the day!
My favourite barrista is no longer here and that is a bit of a disappointment cos she made the coffee well. Not to say that the current flock of barrista are any worse, but the service is no longer personalised for me. The rest of the stuff is still quite good and tasty like normal.
I'll come back here but only if I'm around.

We used to go to Zuma quite regularly, it's an excellent place to catch up with friends and then browse the markets. However, slowly the quality of the food started to go downhill. I think the deciding factor was when I ordered poached eggs and looking forward to the delicious yolk oozing over the bread, they were unfortunately overcooked, twice. I think Zuma needs to work on their attention to detail, as the service is usually good.
I agree! Used to be a great little place for good quality and old style service but not any more!
Very disappointing experience at Zuma last week. Staff were pleasant but slow and the tomato bruschetta was awful! Tomato on flatbread with oily pesto that literally pooled on the plate was horrendous. Zuma may be an institution in Adelaide, but we were disappointed.

This place is amazing for hungover breakfast on a Saturday (don't get too hungover and accidentally go there on a Sunday, as you'll find it closed).
The menu is great, with full breakfast, half serves, and the regulars like eggs florentine sharing space with specials like the amazing Raison Experience, a raisin toast confection with Poached pears, ricotta cheese and berries and almonds (so amazing!).
They do breakfast til very late and the lunch menu is always available, good for people like my boyfriend who prefers things like their quiche and amazing chicken pie to calm the hangover beast.
A quick note: they are often very busy, so don't expect quiet. They also do great weekday food I'm told, though I only go to Dr. Zuma's on a Saturday.
Lovely staff who are friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and has pretty good food & coffee. Would recommend others to go.
This is a Fantastic place. They have been there for around 20 years, excellent quality, freshness and service every time i visit. Drop by next time you are at the markets.
The thing going for this place is its on the outskirts of the market, and has all the aromas and the uniqueness of the old market. The food is great but a little pricey
For those of you who don't know, Zuma is located in the SW corner of Central Markets. The food is usually of high quality, and the coffee's are prepared well (nice and strong in my experience). Their spinach parcels and vegetable samosa's are really yummy, as are their greek salads.
The coffee is yummy. Some of the staff are friendly. The food that I've had is good. Lovely place to hang out on a Market day. Tables in the sun or aircon inside.
I reallylike the atmosphere of this cafe/restaurant. The food is nice and the coffee has always been good (I've been going there for many years). A popular restaurant.
