After going to this vet for over 15years they kick me out and banned the whole family as well and deny my dog the vet care it needs. I was furious over a situation which caused my dog to have an infection and handed my phone over to my mother cause i didnt want to take my frustration out on them to bad if you have mental illness that punishable apparently. But not once but twice i was made out to be a bad pet owner again i cannot be upset and frustrated over that??. When i went to pick up my dog the vet said i was not allowed to return all while holding a clenched fist which i asked her to unclench but i am the one kicked out as being aggressive??. No hey come back lets chat about this ect just bam dont come back,save yourself the time and find a vet that does not stand over you with a clenched fist!
I had a very ill and old dog and was not happy with the vet care elsewhere. Having made the decision, I rang Zillmere Vets and they said to bring him straight in. They were wonderfully supportive at a very difficult time and I can't thank them enough. We now take our two new puppies here and are very happy with the service, staff and value.
My two girls Poppy and Sophie first attended Zillmere Vet at Puppy School. I would never take them anywhere else. The level of care and love they get from Karen and the staff is amazing. Even after numerous surgeries my accident prone little ones still wag their tail and get all exited to visit the vet

You guys really are so very friendly and I'm so glad that my boy has you to look after him.
Zillmere vet is the only vet practice that feels like a family. All my pets have gone there for years and I reccomend them to everyone! I have very excited little puppy that loves to go to visit Karen and staff. And the puppy school rocks too!
Karen and her staff have looked after our Nippa since we adopted him from my brother in 2005. I can't think of anywhere I would take him to have his annual checks or have him looked after when he is ill. Thankyou ladies for all the care and attention you give us and Nippa.
The team here are all fantastic. Always friendly and really know what they're talking about :) They've been looking after my Weimaraner since he was 8 weeks old.
Karen diagnosed my cat's lymphosarcoma and got the ball rolling same day. Referred me to BVSC for the cat's chemo. Karen was always there for advice and comfort. Her entire team was professionalism personified. Missy is doing well some eight years later thanks to the BVSC initially and now Karen who is available for advice at short notice. I refer friends and relatives with their pets to Karen in full knowledge they will get the best of treatment
Karen and the staff are wonderful and caring to both the pets and their owners. they follow up and make sure that things are going as planned. Highly recommended.
All the ladies at Zillmere Veterinary Surgery are absolutely lovely and they are always willing to help out whenever needed. Communication is great and they have always followed up to check on my dog Jack.
Jack has just had surgery and the girls have been looking after him everyday while I am working. Jack is always happy to see them and I feel very comfortable leaving him there. I even get little messages through the day letting me know how he is. Really takes the stress out of things for me.
A really friendly, healthy atmosphere. They cared a great deal about my guinea pigs and were so helpful
They microchipped and desexed my little cat and he seemed to be comfortable. They didn't cause him pain as a lot of other veterinary services do

Took my two dogs there every 6 month for check up etc. They are very professional and friendly. The stuff there know how to treat the pets and not make them scared. Good vet in northside.
I've been taking my dog and cat here for more than two years and have always found the service to be helpful and friendly. They treat my pets so well that my dog actually enjoys going there.
When I was living on the northside, I always took my baby here, and the vet staff were fabulous. Conan was never nervous about coming here as the vet and the nurse were both really gentle and he was never traumatised. I'd highly recommend this surgery to everyone on the northside.
My dog has now been looked after by Zillmere Vet for 6 years. She has had all her checkups, needed treatment for various things and even surgery. They are so caring and really help to put your mind at ease when they are treating your "part of the family" pet. Thanks to Zillmere Vet for all you have done to look after her!!
