I got my flare jeans and boot cut jeans altered there and kept the original design of them. For original you will be paying $28. If you are paying just to get the hem up it's $14. They will remember you and get your clothes to you as soon as possible so you don't have to wait. It is a little bit of value for money except for the double in price for keeping the design the same.

I think the people there could have done a better job getting the stitching done properly as they did do it overnight. Part of the hem of my jeans did not get stitched in the inside but the original design of the jeans was kept. There seems to be a bit of crease line on them when I got them which I think can be ironed out.
I'm worried that the stitching may fall off but I rather get my mum to fix that. My mum can do hems but not keep the original design. My mum would have done a better job than them.

I was asked to pay the $85 fee when I dropped off my dress.. I did so in good faith.
I got my dress back 3 days later, smelling of dust. They denied they had dust..I inspected the work area and it was covered in thick dust..garments are not covered.
When I got home I found further damage.. a hole, a split seam, fabric fatigue, and a wad of white glue/wax like substance on it.
I rang the owner who raised her voice and refused to help, telling me to go to "the tribunal". She then offered to meet me at the store, but was unable to give me a date or time. Ms Ly this matter will go through legal avenues unless I am given an apology and an offer of compensation.

Approximate cost: $85.00

I also had a new very small zip put into my 11yr old daughters shorts and was charged $28.00 and I had to pay up front. I was absolutely desperate so I paid it BUT would never go there again.

I have already stated. She is fantastic. Never overcharges and I only pay $15 to $18 to have slacks or jeans taken up. I have only ever had to wait overnight to get things altered.

I was charged $85 for alterations to a brand new dress I'd intended to wear to my son's wedding on 28/2/2009. I paid $180 for that dress. I needed some alterations to it, and got it back with a small hole in it, some strange glue substance on it, obvious fatigue in the fabric, smelling of dust and with a split seam. I complained to the Parkmore Wonderland staff, and by phone to Li Ly, who claimed to be the owner. I was offered no rebate, or partial rebate, and no apology. Ms Ly raised her voice over the phone and told me to take the matter to "tribunal". She then offered to "look" at the dress, but made no firm arrangement to meet me at the store. I would strongly urge everyone NOT to take items to this repairer. I am taking legal action regarding this matter.
