Lovely vibe, great bar staff and neverany ossuesz great pub for all, food is amazing also
I've been to the Windmill a couple of times and the last time I was there I had lasagne. It doesn't normally come with chips but the lady taking the orders winked at me and sure enough, I had some chips with it. Very kind. Sure, the decor is typical for a pub but I like it, as do my colleagues.

Great service, nice warm bread rolls when you arrive, had the Porterhouse steak with panko crumbed calamari which they happily exchanged for prawns, yum chips and Greek salad off the specials board for $25, steak cooked just right, dressing on the salad, live music, specials every night of the week, play area for the kids, great ambiance, loved it.

Had a nice lunch here off the specials board, roast of the day was very nice and a good price, spent some time in the pokie room which was also good, lot of new machines . Over all it was a very reasonable priced meal and the service was excellent. A good place for a reasonable price.
Have driven past the Windmill a few times with my husband and we wondered what it was like. Will be trying when out that way next.

Good menu, they do a pretty decent schnitzel for reasonable price. Its not the most luxurious venue in Adelaide but it is clean and the staff are friendly. The pokie room is a good enough distance from the dining room that its not too noisy. They also have cheap nights, which is easier than cooking at home and you can still get a hearty meal with plenty of veg!
If you want a quick pub meal that is inexpensive and tastes great, then I highly recommend the Windmill Hotel. They have a fairly large menu and always have great specials available. The staff are very friendly and the service is very quick. The place could do with a 'spruce up' inside, but it's cosy and has a nice atmosphere.
