Best take away around.. old school hamburgers where the juices run down your arm. Top quality fresh products. The original owners actually ran a take away at Beresford when I was a kid. Even selling on now in the last few yrs to family not a single thing has changed.. will never go anywhere else, we waited 8 weeks without take away during covid until they opened again once u try it u will never go elsebwhere. Chips aint frozen crap either

One of THE best fish and chip joints in newcastle! Despite being in Windale, the food here is nice and cheap, with no consequence to quality. However they do get VERY busy so it is best to call in advance where possible!

This is a great takeaway shop & they have some of the best hamburgers around. The ingredients are always fresh & they sell a good variety,so you can always find something for everyone.Their fish pieces are a good size & so are the servings of chips.They can get busy somedays so if you can ring ahead your order it will save the wait.They have very reasonable prices & the staff are always friendly.Well worth trying.

Just like 20 years ago. $2.50 gets you a footy sized bag of chips. $1.30 (approx.) for a decent sized cocktail fish. $2.50 for a pluto pup etc. just great prices across their menu.
A good and cheaper tasting alternative for lunch or dinner.
Although, get in early or call ahead before the dinner rush(5-8pm).
I have had to wait >40mins for a few orders before.

What a great takeaway shop this is. The staff are polite and friendly, their burgers are great although you do need to ask for onion. The have great cocktail fish which are really big pieces. I highly recommend to anyone wanting a great burger.
I think we all love fish and chips and this one is as cheap as chips but the quality is still great. Dont let the suburb put you off they are fantastic. I would rate it 10/10
