Western Plains Medical Centre

Normally service provided at WPMC is not too bad. However this morning I waited for over 2 hours.
It was early this morning, and there was only a couple of people in the clinic.
I went to reception to check how much longer the wait would be. Found out Dr Tarique has a habit of deleting patients bookings, as he had done for me and another lady this morning.
Would NOT recommend attending the centre when this doctor is rostered on.

Is great now that you dont have to pay. Some of the Drs have absolutely no idea but then you get some drs that are fantastic.

Staff behind the counter could do with a smile but otherwise most of the staff are pleasant.

The convenience of a late night chemist up there as well makes all the difference.

Times are convenient as well 6am till 10pm 365 days a year. Waiting times vary though.
Have found that sunday mornings and later at night monday - Wednesday are great other times it can be long waits which isnt great with smaller kids.

If you do have kids might be wise to take some toys or things to keep them occupied.

They also have specialty medical up there as well so sort of nice to have alot all in one

You can't make appointments here. You just rock up. It has improved alot since you now have to pay to go see a doctor. I used to wait 3 hrs to see a doctor! Now it's about 15mins. The quality of the doctor depends on which one you go to but you can request a certain doctor you just have to wait a bit longer.
