I applied for a weekend course with WEA. The week preceding my spouse was hospitalised for over 1 week, which precluded me from attending. On initial enquiry WEA offered a partial refund of course cost. However after 3 months this was not forthcoming. Only after action taken via the Department of Fair Trading was I offered a partial refund. I was disgusted with WEA's inflexible attitude, rude student coordinator and overall lack of professionalism.

I took a course in nursing through this company and they were quite good, The teachers were very experienced and it was a very rewarding experience. The nursing course is located in a big 2 story building and has quite a large number of stairs and no lift witch was a pain. A great course the certificate 3 in aged care but a bit expensive
