Matt & Urban Tech Studio has been associated with our company for the best part of 5 years now. He has become part of our businesses ‘Family’ seeing our organization grow and flex, stretch and contract as small business does.
Throughout this time he has run an effective IT system that suited our needs; even though those needs often changed.
With the lack of anyone directing Matt on our IT desires (due to our complete indifference) he has kept us informed of emerging technology; more specific software; and industry best practice. We trust him implicitly with this.

Recently Urban Tech Studio has introduced a new server system that means our Western Australian operations office can seamlessly link to the Victorian head office as well as redefining our VPN network for our remote workers.
Urban Tech Studio also plays a large part in administering our document control software and its interaction with our server. Without his knowledge and understanding (and his drive to implement this) we wouldn't be now suitable for compliance auditing.

That’s the thing with Matt & Urban Tech Studio. They understands small business as well as I.T. They know what we need and why. They are respectful of budgets. Many of the challenges that we come across – Matt can identify with. Therefore – he understands them.

Found both Matt and Sue to be very professional and helpful. The cost of fixing our 2 laptops was very reasonable - less than expected. They worked hard to keep me informed about progress, didn't over promise and delivered exactly what was required. No charging for extras or convincing me of extra work they found that needed to be done. They even picked up and delivered the laptops at a time that was convenient to us. From our first meeting as I commenced private practice three and a half years ago, Matt impressed me with his ability to understand the issues that we faced setting up and running a new medical practice. Matt recognised that our needs (and funds) were limited to begin with, and spent time eliciting our vision for the future to develop an IT system that would work for us today and grow with us tomorrow, without breaking the start-up budget.

Knowing that we wanted to run a paperless office, he designed a computer system that was extremely cost effective and met all of our needs without any constrictions, complications, or unnecessary fanfare. We did not make it simple for him, choosing specialist practice software that was not used or supported locally, however Matt made setting up an integrated IT system seem effortless.

He liaised with not only our practice management software providers to ensure installation was effected without complication, but also coordinated the setup of Medicare Online, Healthlink, three different pathology laboratories, radiology, internet and antivirus protection to name but a few. He also ensured the data on our server was secure, backed up safely and easily accessible from the comfort of home or offsite.

More than 3 years on, not a single piece of hardware has become redundant but has been seamlessly integrated into our expanded business server that now supports the needs of 3 separate practices. Support has always been provided in an extremely timely manner, out of hours for non-critical issues so as not to disrupt clinics, and we have never been left without access to critical patient data.
