Very disappointed

Not up to expectations as what have been told. The service needs to be improved. For a group booking, with the drinks not all brought out at once and still waiting 20min for a basic soft drink. The meals were all mixed up and not correctly serviced. While one steak meal still waited half an hour for coming out cold with another meal still missing the sides of greens. The menu has too much to chose from while the staff looked confused asking other staff why what happening with the meals. Not in a hurry to revisit for a meal. Very disappointed.

Great service, however pizza was lacking any flavour... minimum to no sauce and tasteless prawns. I have never before hD to add salt and pepper to a surf & turf pizza to have flavour.
Rustic Olive was a favourite of mine for many years sadly won't hurry back

Spaghetti was quite soft, not al dente as you would expect from an authentic Italian restaurant. Pork belly crackling was so over cooked, it was as hard as a rock, we could not bite into it without destroying our teeth. Tiramisu was bland and tasteless! Will not be coming back here.

The best restaurant I have been to by far. The food is superb and the staff are attentive and friendly. The place was absolutely pumping and packed with diners which surely attests to the supreme quality of all it offers. Our meals were delicious and the serves were huge. We have already made a booking to go back with friends.

Have been there once. It is always quite busy and there was a wait on food. The staff were helpful. The food was nice, although I did have a seafood dish that made me feel quite unwell afterwards.

Very busy, seated quickly. Service was hectic but considering how busy they were very good, waitress friendly. Food came out reasonably quickly and was hot fresh and delicious. Well priced, would like to go when not so busy to enjoy the views f ocean and read a bit more.

The rustic olive has a nice casual ambience and great food. I love the chicken fettucine Amore, but there pizza and other pasta dishes are nice also. I find the entree size filling and good value. One of the only things that lets them down is service at times. I've found that when it's busy eg. Friday nights you can wait a long time for anyone to take your order and then get it. Waitresses can also forget to take drink orders. If you go when it's quite it's all good though.

I visited The Rustic Olive for the first time a couple of weeks ago for lunch with my local Ladies Group. The location is wonderful, overlooking Moreton Bay. The menu is vast with so many options - whether you want a light meal or something a bit heartier - and the prices are very reasonable. The staff are very efficient, and even though there were around forty in our group, we were served quickly and with a smile. The meals were generous and absolutely delicious. We are planning on returning with friends this coming weekend and this time we have booked a table out the front to enjoy the sea views.

The food is great here although the service is waining. I ordered the chicken pizza and it was very lovely although it took about an hour to get my food. The fit out is quite nice though, it was a nice rustic feel which suits the restaurant. The waitresses are fairly friendly although barely check on you to see whether you need anything. Overall a nice meal can be had here if you are willing to wait.

It's certainly very busy here but I really wasn't impressed with the place. My pasta was really oily and flavourless, the service was really slow, and the starter pesto bread seemed to be covered in that horrible fake orange parmesan cheese that comes in a plastic bottle at the supermarket (tastes foul). I wont be going back here.

Can be a very good restaurant on its day. However, more often than not, the food is below standard and the service is even worse! Overall, I won't be going back here any time soon.

The Rustic Olive is a cute little restaurant on the Redcliffe waterfront. The pastas are simply amazing and full of flavour. They also offer pizzas, but with pasta so good I can't bring myself to miss it to try the pizza.

Their pasta and pizza is always delicious, however the service I'm never usually happy with. That comes with being such a tiny restaurant that's so popular I guess. But once that food comes it's all worth it!

The food itself was beautiful - absolutely to die for!! However it took approximately 1.5 hours for our meal to be prepared. When they bought our meal out they didn't say sorry or anything. Im not sure if the food was good enough to forgive the wait for 2 pizzas??

We took some visitors from Sydney there for dinner, and were seated at a tressle table (you know the ones from bunnings ) no tablecloth and on a slant, table rocking due to uneven flooring. That was the first, we then placed our order and watched the amount of diners this place was taking, not only were there diners but they were also doing take away!!! We waited over an hour for our food, we got this due to the fact we were harrassing the waitress as we had children with us and it was getting frustrating as you were watching all the take aways walking out the joint. We started talking to a few people around us and the feeling was mutual, we watched & spoke to 3 tables that got up & left as the wait was ludicrous. We finally got our meals $ the garlic bread was burnt, the risotto luke warm. I asked for pepper & it came as I ate the last spoon full...are you kidding me? This place is a joke, get a bigger premises and more staff to cope with the demand that obviously is.

Great pizza, yummy risotto, you won't be disappointed at The Rustic Olive. You may need to book on a weekend as this small restaurant is busy and fills up fast. Tasty entres and a nice selection of desserts. Great views over Moreton Bay. Enjoy.

The food is fantastic, I had the Spaghetti Marinara and it was great value. There is a lot of seafood, definitely not stingy. Service was okay, could make an improvement.

Great view, great food but the service leaves room for improvement. The problem is, they are usually busy. Their pasta dishes are excellent, with tasty sauces. I've tasted better pizzas though.

This was the most authentic Italian I have ever had. All our meals were absolutely fantastic. It is B.Y.O wine so you can you're favorites and afford some of the wonderful entrees' also. The service was a little slow and it did take a while for our order to be taken, however it was a busy night and the fabulous food soon made up for the wait.

This was probably the most expensive B.Y.O. I have been to...don't bother there are lots of other excellent eating establishments in the vacinity.......
The meal was ok but not worth the high prices they charge.....
You'd expect to pay these prices in a city restaurant NOT A SUBURBAN BYO
