The Pound

This cafe changed hands in the past year and happily it has not lost any of the quality of food nor service although I miss the regular waiters they used to have with the previous owners. That aside I think the menu may even be better and more extensive than before. Always always love the food here, the ambiance and of course coffee are also great.

I love it at The Pound. Staff are great, menu is really good and it's quick. They use Bonsoy which makes the coffee even better. Wouldn't go anywhere else in Elsternwick. Awesome breakfast.

STAFF ARE FRIENDLY, FOOD IS DELICIOUS AS THEY CHANGE MENU QUITE OFTEN, THE COFFEE IS CONSISTENTLY GREAT. ITS ALWAYS BUSY WHICH CREATES A FUN ATMOSPHERE. THEY ALSO HAVE INDOOR AND OUTDOOR SEATING WITH HEATING

Overcrowded. Is only good with a pram in summer when one can sit ouside. Staff have been too rushed, and bit rude, especially in respect to my son. Food is good however, and if you go at non-peak time, it's a nice experience.

Not as good as loco up the road but not too bad. The layout is a little overcrowded making it not the greatest place in winter to go with a pram and a few other mothers. But in summer this place is good as you can sir outside.

great food, friendly staff, family friendly. good atmosphere and outside area is nice on a warm day.
