Not great Cornish pastry or service. The waitress seem to prefer serving locals rather than older tourist. The waitress complained how a bus load of oldies disrupted her day when they ate at her bakery. We are definitely not going back after this bad experience.

Stopped in here for lunch with a friend. I had a Cornish pasty which was lovely, cant fault it at all, but my friends pie was still cold in the middle and he said it just didnt taste quite right. They didnt seem to have many of their menu items available so limited choice in what to order. The staff were polite but not overly friendly and seemed preoccupied in talking amongst themselves. Pretty average over all.

I have had mixed experiences with ordering and eating here, The Cornish Kitchen make a lovely iced chocolate and their milkshakes are delicious too, the Cornish pasties are the best I have ever tasted.. However I have had trouble with of all things, their sandwiches..I was given a chicken and avocado sandwich and the avocado was that unripe that it was crunchy (and horrible) and the chicken is processed and I was unlucky enough to get a sandwich of processes chicken fat and skin.
Another time my sausage roll was not cooked through, and still cold in the middle..and they have given me the wrong order a few times... however when they get it right they get it really right, and the food is lovely at those times.
I recommend the iced chocolate there though, it is always lovely!

Holidaying with a group of friends in Moonta Bay. This morning had morning tea here. My coffee was good as was the milk shake my husband had. My friend's iced coffee was impressive as was the pastry items others consumed. Very friendly and welcoming cafe.

I reckon I stop in here every time I go to Moonta. You really can't beat their Cornish pasties. The pastry is beautiful, nice and yellow buttery colour and taste sooooo good! It would be 1 of the last places where you can buy a real Cornish Pastie. They do have your cakes and other food but I can't go past the pasties so my experience is limited. I would probably drive all the way to Moonta just for 1 of those pasties. Drop in if your up that way, you won't be sorry!

The Cornish Kitchen produces some of the best Cornish pasties this side of Cornwall. They also offer a vast array of products and drinks, with a dine-in option also available. The bakery is a must when visiting Moonta :)
