It's wonderful and all that you can expect from the probably most famous restaurant in Sydney. But very pricey. The menu is great, but I hear it doesn't ever change. So it's good for a visit, but not again unless you're rich.

This place is really good although not the best. I like the food and the chef has certainly done an excellent job in preparing them. The food is quite tasty and pleasing to the eye. There are just some areas where they have to do a better job in rounding it all off.

For a special occasion this is so worth it. The ambience, the degustation with the matching wines, the service it's all top notch. the food is so fresh and delicious but not overpowering - quite delicate flavours but so innovative and clever and the presentation is out of this world. Tets is such a talented guy, he deserves every bit of success - a lovely man!

Perhaps I am spoilt with these Fine Dining restaurants, because I have been to a few. The setting was fantastic and the service and atmosphere superb, but.. well... the food wasn't wow, which is what I am use to at these restaurants. I guess you could say they have very suttle flavours. Yes, it was nice. Nothing tasted bad, but there was no wow. We had the degustation menu and opted for the premium wines, and apart from the fist saki, well... I think the wine was quite average really. The reds perhaps a little young. It is hard to find, exspecially at night, the waiter had to come out and find me! The deserts were dissapointing. So, it was a must visit, but I wouldnt go there again. There are much better fine dining degustation restaurants in Sydney.

Seaood was excellent. Ocean trout was incredible. Great service, friendly waiter. I really enjoy raw fish. It was amazing experience. However it was expensive but it's worth it!!

My boss and I (the things a P.A has to do!) took a new client there last night. He was blown away. It's incredible. He's modernised and satepped outside of the box with Japanese cuisine. No cheap sushi here! We were treted like V.I.P's from the time we drove up till we departed. Cost the company (! :-) )$400 all up

The food is tasty and mouth-watering. I can not wait to go there and have a nice time while I am eating delicious meals. I am sure you will enjoy the atmosphere too, but keep in mind that you have to take more money, if you want to try more meals.

this is a modern 21st centery japanese resturant,the menu was great as i took a friend who was vegetarian as they had great vegan dishes,we had the beetroot and blood orange strawberry sorbet.we had the grilled barummundi with mushrooms so tasty the view of the rock was beautiful a great modern japanese resturant

A great experience for that special occasion, not just a meal. Located in the centre of Sydney it is like an oasis with a very zen feel. The food is outstanding. We had the degustion with wine which we really enjoyed. Every mouthful was an explosion of flavour. The wine perfectly matched and we where full and jolly by the end. Unreal. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed a dessert here of white peach with peach granita. This place is Modern Japanese with french influence in technique. Fresh and creative food. Delicious! Caters well for vegetarians and Vegans. Elegant dining rooms overlooking a serene Japanese rock garden. I will be back next time i am on holiday in Sydney. Highly Recommended place.

We had a great night from the time we arrived and our car was whisked away and valet parked to the time we left when they phoned ahead to have the car waiting for us.
All the food was delicious but the desserts excelled. As 2 in our party were celebrating birthdays they had "birthday cakes"the others had a pyramid of soft meringue that when you cut into it had a little fountain of rich chocolate sauce...but wait there was more...a second fountain of strawberry sauce. How did they ever do that???

If I could give six stars I would have! The best food I have ever tasted. Not just one of the best in Australia, it's one of the best in the world.

The food here was absolutely beautiful but the desserts were definitely a highlight of my meal. The service was very attentive and the garden view was amazing.

There is a variety of dishes to choose from that all have a very unique atmosphere and feel to it! The service was great!

Absolutely sublime: deserves to be the best restaurant in Australia.

You have to go the Degustation, and though it's pricey, (think 360 Euroes at Guy Savoy without wines) even with wines, you'll leave happy after a divine experience. I would not rather comment on the menu as it changes a bit every time I have been there.

Just to say that Tet's hands on experience in going to Tasmania and being involved in the trout farming, really means his signature dish transcends the every taste you can imagine. Matching wines, nothing short of perfection.

Spectacular dinning place to celebrate our anniv with very good quality food. The room is not really glamour compare to other high class restaurant but the food and service is best out of the best.

I, like everyone else, booked 6 months in advance to get a seating, and since there were 8 of us, we were given the private dining room with really comfortable couches. The food was great, every dish was different and the atmosphere felt really grand.

The service wasn't all that great. We've eaten in some pretty nice and pretty expensive restaurants in our time and the wait staff didn't explain the dishes just put them down and rushed off. In any other restaurant I would have been OK with that but when you are going to the best.....

This is THE restaurant. It is like no other. Although of course many try to imitate it these days.
I have only been 4 times and it is certainly a place you should not go more than once a year for a special treat. But go you must... At least once in your life.

I like how there is a set menu, otherwise it would be too hard to decide! Service is excellent- especially how the staff matches the right tea/coffee to the right customer! Price is quite pricy but worth the experience.

Be prepared for a lot of fish and a VERY expensive bill! Booked for my wife and I on a Friday and probably the BEST fine dining / service you can get in Sydney.

Degustation menu was fantastic. Each and every serving was full of flavour. If you get it with the wine...difficult to keep up on the wine front. We had a backlog of glasses filling up the table but it was all part of the experience. You go there knowing that you are paying top dollar so the bill at the end really comes as no surprise.

Very nice looking restaurant well laid out and presented. Tables are widely spread to allow privacy. Food is quite pricey but reasonable considering quality and service provided. Staff are helpful but sometimes there when not needed and not there when needed.

very expensive but worth the money, the sashimi are very fresh and nice. and they cook the food just right, the beef are so juicy and nice, it would be a good treat to take someone special there

food are excellent, service are great, very nice environment, good to go there to celebrate some special event with my husband. however it is very expensive though, so only for special ocassion for me

An expensive restaurant, this is one of the best Sydney has to offer. I love the degustation menu, but be wary if you're not a fan of seafood! Really great atmosphere, wonderful service, the quality of food provided is amazing.

It's fits my expectation of a top high-class resturant in the world. Each dish is delicious and decorated beautifully.

Very beautiful restaurant situated in the heart of the city. The only option was the degustation. Each course was very nice and unique. The cuisine is modern Japanese. Quite an expensive outing, and the only other downside was the quantity of food. There was too much food, and somehow this made it feel less special.
