I hear bad things about cockroaches and the horrible decor and fatty chicken in the rice dishes but Takas, none the less, has the best sushi in Perth. Every time I see that bright blue building when I am driving on Wellington st, my mouth waters. Love the calafornia roll and vegetarian best. The beef and rice (I forget the name) is also among my faves.
I went there about two weeks ago on the 5th of December, and never wanted to go back.
This shop is terrible, they had many cockroaches on the walls on my visit - we counted about 10 at least while we were having our meal. It was just too many to be a stray that crawled in as we were told!
The girl who worked there then sprayed the insecticide over wall, that landed into the sauces that were left at the side or the customers to add into their food!
Good value for the food but I am absolutely disgusted. Might be costing more to your health than the value you save!

This is my favourite place where they sell really cheap and yummy Japanese food! My favourite dish is Karaage :) Their standard of Food never disappoint me ever since I have been eating here for 3 years!

I love this place. Such yummy sushi and hot meals. The service is always quick and the food is very cheap and tasty. I usually end up full after spending $10 or less.
For some reason I find the food is better here than at the Barrack street Taka's Kitchen...
