just had dinner there. Had to wait 45 mins for the food to arrive and they had forgotten about our drinks. Unusual for them as they are usually pretty good. The meal was great though and lots of it. reasonably priced for what for you get. Will go there again, nice and local too
They lost our booking, so we had to sit outside with the smokers. There were no diet drinks of any sort - they were all out. We ordered skim coffee and we got whole milk. They brought a bottle of water to the table but no glasses. The children's meal arrived over half an hour before the adults. Children's meal includes dessert, an activity pack and a drink but we had to ask for these so that the kids had something to do while the parents ate. When I went to pay for the meal I commented that the children had not received their drink and I was asked if I would like them in a take away cup. As we were leaving the drinks were brought out in glass cups and we were told that they didn't have takeaway cups!!!! I got the feeling that the staff were annoyed because we hadn't just gone away in the first place.
All in all not a good night.

Have been going to the Stringybark for years - the food and service is always good. I dont think the menu has changed for a long time - but I always opt for my favourite Squid/ Caliamari dish. Large serves with chips and a side salad with a killer sauce. Nom, nom, nom...

Have been going to the Stringy Bark for a few years now, this place just keeps getting beta and beta, the food is fantastic and reasonably priced, they have recently introduced a kids indoor playground(like macdonalds). Great for functions or just a casual dinner. Well done Stringy Bark Team;)

I love going on Wednesdays when it's $14 steak and fish night. Great value. And great food. Only thing is the wait staff a bit slow sometimes.

The food was nice, the price reasonable and the atmosphere casual. The service wasn't fantastic however it was what you would expect for a pub meal. Kid friendly and a good night for the whole family.
