My move went really well and the lads that moved me were awesome. .The three men were lovely, they seem to care about my items and tried to save me money and time. They were careful and did a good job getting through the narrow entrance. Happy to book again, very reliable company.
Our move went well. The guys were efficient and finished the job within 3 hours. I heard of this company from my chemist and this company indeed is value for money. The movers were hard-working and commited to move me from A to Z.
Initially we were quoted $80 an hour, they then called up the day before and said they thought we needed a bigger truck and were going to charge $120! This was sorted out though, and we went with the original quote.
The two guys turned up on time which was great, as it was an early start, both were very friendly. I had a few of my friends to help, but then got the impression that the removal guys were observing rather than moving when my friends started shifting furniture, but we got a little system going and started working together. We were paying by the hour so I was getting frustrated when they would get a piece of furniture into the truck then spend 5 to 10 minutes rearranging the truck to get the furniture in safely.
However in the end we got everything safely to our new home and within a decent time-frame, that didn't go over my initial estimate by too much.
Approximate cost: $80 an hour for a 4 tonne truck
Stack Removals in Caulfield broke three pieces of furniture and abused me when I tried to claim on their insurance. DO NOT USE!
