This is a very customer and community oriented supermarket. It is always well-staffed, with far faster and friendlier service than the large chain supermarkets, yet I get very reasonable prices, beaut specials and excellent fresh foods, such as dairy, deli, fruit and vegies. Seriously, Spar Malanda is a top store!
SPAR Malanda is my preference over larger supermarkets. They have good prices on fruit and veg, and specials, which means that doing my groceries there isn't dearer than going to a large supermarket in another, larger town.
The service is excellent at SPAR, they even carry things to your vehicle if required.
There is an excellent deli with a wide variety of foods. And also meat from the local butcher.
Their Local Product tickets really help those of us who want to buy local and it's a great campaign.
