As someone who went grey early, Jasmine is a superstar at getting my hair to act its age. I trust her advice and knowledge on hair care. Although I live in Boronia, I wouldn't visit anyone else.

Suzanne and Jasmin have been colouring and styling my hair for 11 years! They are both fantastic and I love the natural products! I always leave feeling happy after spending my time laughing with them. From an extremely satisfied customer!

Jasmin Medina has been doing my hair for years and I have followed her from her previous employer to SP Salon. She's a brilliant colorist, her cuts look great as they grow out and she's hilarious to talk to. My hair is tricky to deal with but it had never been an issue for Jasmin. I wouldn't go to anyone else. Highly recommended!

After 9 years I can confidently recommend the services of Suzanne as an outstanding hairdresser. Great foils and cut and she goes to great lengths to ensure client satisfaction. Apart from being in a great location, the salon is a warm and friendly place to visit and feel the focus of attention from the minute you arrive.

Just walked out of SP Salon feeling amazing! My blow dry was what I needed after a hard day. Visiting this salon which is always full of energy and laughter is as good for the soul as it is for my hair.

I moved to Melbourne in 2008 and couldn’t find a hairdresser I was happy with. I was making fairly regular trips back to Brisbane and getting my hair coloured and cut back there with my old hairdresser. Then I won a voucher in my son’s kinder Christmas raffle in 2012 and I have not looked back since. Suzanne is the best hairdresser I have had in a very long time. She has great ideas on how to style my hair to make it easy for me. She has recommended products to me that I love and continue to use today. I love coming into the Salon. You always have such a great laugh. You not only leave with great hair but also with a big smile on your face and feeling upbeat and happy. I always recommend SP Salon to anyone looking for a great hairdresser.

Everyone is so welcoming and lovely. I know that it dosent matter who i see i will always leave with an amazing result. Ive never met a greater bunch of girls.

SP Salon does not allow negative reviews on the My Local Salon Website through which clients can book online. I have given this salon every chance, having availed myself of their services for a year before I finally decided they were not worthwhile. I will not get into the subjective matters of dissatisfaction with cut or colour, but restrict my reasons to their pressure selling of products, particularly Olaplex. On the last occasion (my final visit) I was questioned as to whether I was on any medication. The sole purpose of this questioning was to pressure sell Olaplex. This was unforgivably intrusive and informed my decision not to return to SP Salon. Though My Local Salon published all of my positive reviews, they did not publish that sole negative review. Notably, all the reviews for SP Salon on My Local Salon are positive.

Update 7/11/17. Here is SP Salon's private response sent as a comment:

"Hello Susan its sad the you have to go to this extreme , we feel your comments are untrue and unjust. In over 10 years in buisness we have never had a client react like this . My local salon does post positive/ negative reviews they are positive for a reason.. Sp Salon "

Their private response is quite a contrast to their public response.

I note also the addition of two new beaming reviews of SP Salon one day after my negative review. The user name of one reviewer bears a striking resemblance to one of their staff.

I state again that SP Salon courted my rating and review. They have published every positive rating/review. They have not published the negative rating and review.

I have been having my hair cut and coloured by Kath for the past couple of years and she is fantastic. She always does exactly what you want and gives great advise with what suits your face and colourings. All of the staff at SP salon are professional and a lot of fun. It feels like a little community in the salon! Highly recommended!!

I followed Kath from Cirque because of her exceptional cutting and colouring skills. Kath really listens to your needs and offers her expert advice to ensure you get the best possible result. She makes going to the hairdresser's lots of fun and you can be sure of 100% satisfaction every time! Indeed, all the staff at SP are friendly, caring, highly skilled and completely professional.

I followed my wonderful hairdresser, Katherine, to this friendly and professional salon. I travel from the Dandenongs to see Katherine because of her fabulous skills and creativity with styling my thick unruly hair. I am so grateful for Katherine's expertise and patience at styling my hair so it has always looked amazing and was easy to manage over the last couple of years of growing it. I followed my fabulous hairdresser, Katherine Duggan, from Cirque in Camberwell to SP Salon. I have a chronic hair loss problem, and Katherine is very helpful. She always listens to what I want, and has given me great advice on styles and colours will suit me. All of the staff in the salon are friendly and helpful. A nice tea or coffee is always offered, and the magazines are current and interesting. There is easy parking nearly, or a 3 minute walk from Darling station. Highly recommended.

Warm and friendly salon that gives a very professional service and finish. Katherine never fails to make me feel amazing when I walk out the door after my appointment.
