They delivered only half an order which had been paid in advance. Many, many emails and faxes went without assistance. It took over 3 months (and a referral to NSW Fair Trading) to get a solution.

I purchased a multi-level cat scratching pole from SoldSmart for my cats last year when they had a special on their cat products. The website was easy enough to navigate and I was able to quickly place an order and pay without any dramas. I like that they have Paypal.
Postage charges were reasonable and it took approximately 10 days for my scratching pole to be delivered.
Assembly of the pole was a little challenging at first but overall quick and easy. The quality of the pole is fairly good and the pole itself is quite sturdy enough for my cats to jump and climb all over it without it wobbling.
I would definitely purchase from this company again.

Bought our first product from SoldSmart this week. The site is easy to use, communication was good and the delivery time was better than expected, and delivered directly to the door. Our disappointment was with the product - I guess we got what we paid for, but the product doesn't live up to our expectation. Chalk this one up to experience.
They were a little bit slow on delivery and the quality of the product is okay but the prices are so good and the amount of different products they have on the site is excellent. I bought an electric motorcycle ride on toy for my son for his birthday and my son loves it. Where else can I buy an ride on bike for less than $100? Even if it lasts only 1 year that's a really good price and I am very happy with it. And let's be honest, my son will outgrow it anyway and anything more expensive wouldn't be worth it.
Will definitely buy from them in the future.

It took one and a half Months to get a full refund on two item's that I had bought from SoldSmart. Numerous email's later. Also numerous amount's of request for refund form's emailed too.

Purchased a guillotine that was bigger than expected but works fine. It arrived with a broken handle and i tried to let them know for information purposes and they tied me up in red tape. They kept wanting to know more and more details until i had know idea what they were talking about, finally i gave up.

Next time you would like something for the office call Office Choice in Townsville 4775 7776 you get good prices and items wont turn up broken, and you would have wasted less time and money.
Great site , there is a large variety of items to browse through, competitive prices and shipping is prompt. Shipping costs also quite reasonable. no problems to date.

Absolutely awful company to deal with. "Anna" in customer service provided absolutely no help to me when I asked a simple question about the dimensions on an item - I was told to look in the product description, which of course didn't have the dimensions - precisely the reason I bothered writing an email in the first place, must be a bunch of morons working there - very disappointing as I was very interested in buying something from them. Any company that wont give out a phone number seems suss! I would have given them NO stars if it was possible.

I too was wowed with Soldsmart.com.au. There bargains were seemed great. But an item I bought almost ended in tragedy.
I bought a pair off secateurs (at a great price) and they arrived in a week. I was excited to receive them and jumped straight into the garden. I started pruning away and they were fine. Then, I went to cut a thicker branch. The branch was no more than 3-4cm thick, and as I clasped together, the top blade broke and flew straight past my ear. If it had hit me in the eye, I would have lost it for certain.
Previously to the secateurs, I bought a few solar lights and things, and I was not happy with the products. After inquiring about a products specifications, I was told to (and I quote),'try and find a similar product through a google search'. This service is horrible.
I am also angry because Soldsmart.com.au also trade under a different name ---- on EBAY!. They sell the same products starting at $0.99c. When you purchase it, you are redirected to the soldsmart online store to pay for the item. Very disappointing.
Don't buy from here. You've got your safety to look after.
This is an Australian owned internet business and at first I was almost wowed!!! by the unbelievably cheap deals! They do freight items usually within a week. However, if you know exactly what you want, you probably won't find it here as not all specifications are given. So, I sent off an enquiry. The reply came back that same evening and I was told to research the product and find the information myself. I am getting fed up with internet businesses doing this rather than taking the time to post the information themselves! So, I did some research. I found out that the prices are so low because the products are cheap imports. There are few details, the photos are small and, in the case of baby/toddler items, no age limit or safety requirements are mentioned. I did a little more research, as I was told to do!, and couldn't find out where this business actually is. The website copyright is a few years out of date and their privacy policy was last updated in April '06.
