Sofia Restaurant

I went there with Denise on Tuesday 31st October 2023 and we both shared a large Aussie Pizza with egg, which was very nice also the lemon pancakes were cooked to perfection so I would highly recommend them since they melt in your mouth

Was in need of some quick food between appointments and having been to the other Sofia's, thought I'd try this one. It's great to be able to find a genuine pizza shop which is open late and night and not just chain stores. The small pizza was very nice, as I expected it to be, had plenty of toppings and tasted very fresh and delicious. Great staff and quick service.

Very cheap and very big potions but the quality is not there. My lasagna was OK but lacked sauce. I'd rather they serve less and add more quality to the product. Still, it's the best value around.

Portion sizes and this Sofias and all Sofia restaurants are HUGE but sadly the quality isn't there.
I always get the pasta, and although its huge and always hot it can sometimes be swimming in water not sauce.
If you are looking for a quick cheap feed its okay.

one thing i must say is that the portion is super huge!! go there if u have a big group and everyone can share! the taste wise, i would say that there is still room for improvement. but i definitely enjoyed their cakes! according to my aunty, sometimes the food is nice sometimes its ok only. i guess they would need to be more consistent with the taste. service was really fast and friendly

Sofia's is the italian McDonalds. Sometimes it is good, some times tastless. The Margaretta is very cheesy but tasty. Still feeds the family - thanks Sarah

We come here just for the gelati, love it. Love the giant serves of coloured gelati...
I find the meals a little pricey, and I am not a big eater so it is a bit of a waste for me/us.
Good service, good location, clean restaurant.

The servings here are big. Make sure to ask the staff how big each serving is but I'd recommend sharing with someone. The staff are always super friendly and make you feel comfortable. It's a great atmosphere and great food with great value. They're also quite big so you could book a table for a big group with no issues, just book a little bit in advance.

Fast and Friendly service we were served plenty of food but not hot enough they need to focus on the food quality Instead of putting too much food on one plate.

Overall Sofia's is o.k for Pizza and Pasta. I really wish they could focus more on quality rather than quantity. For example bolognaise tastes old even though hot. The vegetable don't really have any taste. Overall kids like it- however they could do so much more with the taste and quality by making a few changes to taste.

I have been to Sofia's about once a month for five years. I have never been disappointed! The service is friendly and prompt, and the atmosphere is fast paced and exciting. The portion sizes are very generous - a great restaurant when you want a good feed for a reasonable price. I've had some good times here!

went there for a friend's birthday and we had a set menu of pasta and pizza, plenty of food and no one went hungry as the servings were very generous

its not gourmet cuisine, but it was nice enough ... will go back again to this restaurant.

This is the original Sofia's and it has always suffered from a lack of space, even since extending in to the building next door the tables are still close together.. That said food is fantastic would recommend to anyone to try a Sofia's pizza.

i really like the risotto and pasta. big proportions, the price could be a bit cheaper though, yummy in my tummy

Part of Camberwell. A big place. Not the best quality food, and the servings are ridiculously massive. The entree is more than two people would be able to eat. I stick to the pizza, and gelati, which is amazing.

The waitstaff were very friendly and welcoming. They had us laughing so hard we were crying. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was great, however definitely order the entree size/small as the meals are stupidly huge. They catered to my food intolerances without any trouble. I was very happy!

Great service with great food. Really big servings, one serving of lasagna usually satisfies 3 people! Their salads are impressive too. Great value.

Friendly warm family environment, Pizzas are really good and the desserts and gelati are not brought in like allot of restaurants but made there.

The most amazing pizza place every!!! service is fast, and never had a bad meal here!. All the staff are super friendly, and food is reasonably priced.

Love the taste. Good value, big portion. Great service. Love Fritto Misto and of course the ice cream for dessert.

The food quality is really good value - I go here with my girlfriends and order the large pasta, which is enough to feed me for 3-4 meals (I take the rest home). So fantastic value, great service, great atmosphere

We went there in Dec 2010, had pasta, oyster, salads, pizza, and the food are just amazing as ever. Been there several times and always satisfied. Great pasta, great ice cream and good service. Great for family and friends gathering.

Massive servings of fairly ordinary food. Steaks aren't particularly good quality, crumbed calamari was tough. Pizza's are quite good, and grilled salmon was also tasty. Try their icecream dessert - it will be big enough for 3-4 people!

Went down for a quick takeaway pasta meal and left with a single serve that serves at least two. Very cheap pricing and food is pretty good.

Really helpful friendly staff .. incredibly large portions, appreciated by the guys! We have been coming here for years to have a bit of family time, food cost is not much higher than at home and our $30-40 gives us breakfast as well for 5! The food is tasty, and you can be selective and get more vegies, also we usually get pastas and one main. We love the place!!

By far the worst restaurant ive ever been to. Food quality was appalling and the atmosphere was crowded and noisy and not an enjoyable dining experience. I do not recommend!
