SMART Business Forums is a unique and valuable investment for business owners. Any opportunity to discuss with peers the typical business challenges without the burden of receiving a sales pitch is without doubt valuable - I highly recommend business owners to consider attending

Smart Small Business Forum is definitively an unique experience in networking! It's well organised and attracts like-minded business owners.
Attended the SMART Connect event in June. Well attended by an enthusiastic and varied group of business owners sharing a focus on helping SMEs and each other develop their businesses. The session was well run and facilitated by Brenda. Those attending participated well. I for one came away with some very useful contacts and potential alliance partners. Highly recommended this event.
The Smart forums are engaging, efficient on time, appropriately structured and well coordinated. Having attended a few forums, I have seen them continue to evolve in a manner which increases the value to the participants. I personally have used the forums to test existing practices as well as float some new ideas - and have walked away each time with a list of ideas and actions. In addition, I have met a number of interesting people for follow up. Based on my experiences, I have no hesitation in recommending the Smart Forums to business.
Useful interactions and one good potentially high value connection. Found that most were more soho than sme though so this diminished the value

More than 90% of our wonderful clients are "micro-sme" with less than 20 employees. It's the sector we love to work with.
The meeting you attended was intended to connect business owners whose IDEAL CLIENTS are SME not specifically for business owners who are SME. We also currently run meetings connecting people whose IDEAL CLIENTS are (i) individual consumers (ii) large businesses and corporates and (iii) interested in property and real-estate.
We're really sorry for the misunderstanding. However it's great to hear that you made a potentially valuable connection.
We believe that the potential for creating synergistic WIN WIN relationships between like minded business owners is determined by shared values, synergistic goals and a common target market regardless of business size or turnover.
