My daughter had a slight lisp, but not severe enough to take advantage of the school pathologist. I took her to Small Talk on the recommendation of a friend whose daughter also had some problems.
The speech pathologist at Small Talk was lovely and gentle with my daughter, who was feeling self conscious at the need to correct her speech. Through play and gentle remonstrations, she was able to correct my daughter's lisp with a minimum number of sessions.
The cost was reasonable. I'd recommend her to anyone.
Approximate cost: $50 per half hour session
