We will give u 0 star if We would. We called 82625000, and told the guy our water fee has been tripled for a while, we need plumber service to fix leaking pipes. They sent someone to my house, he checked my roof, and told me he will recommend us another company who could do underground pipes, since he can’t do it. They charged us $198 for the useless job. We are not sure if staff in this company need more common sense that for our job we definitely need a plumber to go could do underground pipes. Or at the first minute they know that they just want to charge us $198 and go. If you want to waste your time and money you can use this company. Hope you can cheat more people.
I discount my bills to keep customers happy! Replace a replaced thermostat. So called electricians!!
Excellent service, work and communication skills. Highly recommend them.
NEVER EVER use this company they called in response to my phone call regarding a burnt out fan element in my stove I gave the model number and oven make, but when they arrived they did not have the correct replacement. I was charged $143 for the call out to tell me what I already knew that the element was inoperative then they arranged a return visit with the correct element, the cost $122 for the element and another $143 for the second visit, all up about $400. I cancelled their second visit and purchased the correct element for $51 from P and R electrical at Holden Hill in Adelaide
an electrician will install it for $95, total $146 a big difference from $400
IN addition to this ripoff while they were there they "inspected" my meter box, it was fully rewired with circuit trips 4 years ago I was told it needed a complete up grade and quoted $1862 !!! This company is completely unethical
keep clear of them and NEVER get them to come to your home
No problems arrived on time and did the job. No issues.
Decided to replace my 25 yr old oven, cook-top and exhaust fan after the element in the oven ceased to work. From the first phone call to getting the new appliances fitted and working, Sharpe were prompt, professional and provided excellent service. Andrew guided us all through this process and I appreciated his professional workmanship and friendly manner.
I wouldn't. Their faulty workmanship in putting our dishwasher in resulted in a pipe fitted with gaffer tape coming away. Half of our brand new flooring was ruined by water flooding it. It's 3 months and they still haven't fixed our floor. The manager was very rude to me today when I was chasing up the repair once again.
DO NOT USE THIS INCOMPETENT COMPANY
I had Sharpe ERS to come and look at my faulty Smeg Oven, $217 later the oven wasn't fixed and I was told that I would receive a quote later that day. After a week of ringing each day I finally received an email telling me that my 10 year old oven with a replacement cost of $3500 was beyond repair and if I still wanted to proceed it was going to cost a minimum of $750, the oven needed to be taken back to Sharpe's warehouse and no guarantee would be provided for the work. I then had Prestige Appliance Repair Service look at it. The technician took 5 minutes to identify the fault as a faulty thermostat, he ordered the $20 part , came back, took another 5 minutes to install, now the oven works fine. Thankfully I didn't take Sharpe advice and throw away a perfectly good oven.
The purchase (solar and battery) was confirmed in about April 2018 and pre-wiring done. In September final installation was booked. 2 days before installation I rang to confirm start time and was told it had not been booked and that the battery was not available. After discussion installation was booked a day later than originally agreed and even though I queried if the time was enough and was told it was - the job was not finished on the day. The day before the actual installation I was rung to be told that the panels ordered were not available and that extra panels would be required to achieve the output requested (5kw). I had to ring to sort out re-attendance. I had to ring to follow up the commissioning of the monitoring portal. The battery was subsequently installed but the panels were then found to not be working correctly. I had to ring to re-arrange attendance to fix the panels. The tech re-wired the panels but then advised my partner who was home by herself that his instructions were not to leave until the final payment (only $4000 out of the $24000 contract with the rest already paid) was made. This was a very threatening demand. Now a week later we find that the portal to monitor the panels has not been updated to reflect the re-wiring that has occurred.
Communication from the Sales team was poor. One sales person left but no details were supplied of a new point of contact. The replacement sales person did not properly book in the installation and it ended up not occurring in a timely manner. The replacement sales person also did not ring to advise of an issue with the supply of the battery and when I rang to confirm indicated that the delay would be upto a further 5 months - a total delay of 10 months from when the product was ordered and deposit paid. The final contact was with a third person who tried to fix issues but by then a large delay in the agreed installation had occurred (with a loss of days for me to be home to meet with installers).
I was happy with the work of the installers on the days they were here other than the last day when they refused to leave until the final part payment was made. That repair has still not been completed by update of the solar monitoring portal 6 days after the final work/payment. The instruction to this male staff member to not leave until payment was made from a single female at the home was not appropriate. If supply and installation had been made at the time originally agreed with the sales staff this would not have arisen.
Extreme well from phone call to gas fitter.
Lady was very friendly and knew the whereabouts of the gas fitter. The gas fitter was quick .. efficient. I got a call from gas fitter and he wa spot on with his time. I have used Sharpe for Mum for years and won't go anywhere else.
My husband contacted Sharpe in May because our inverter had failed. They were prompt to attend and recommend what we needed to correct the problem however after waiting over two months we gave up on Sharpe. At first they told us they had to get permission from authority to be able to install a new inverter because it was on the outside of the house. The staff got snappy when asked why they needed permission when it was a replace ment for an existing part that wasn't working not a new installation. Then week after week we were told it will be in next week - we're having trouble with our supplier. Finally we went elsewhere and had a brand new inverter supplied and installed the day after we okayed the quote. My husband called Sharpe to cancel order and they were still saying it would be in next week!!!! Don't know what is going on with Sharpe - we gave them more than a fair chance
Worst customer service I've ever experienced! I called Sharpe to get an electrician to fix my induction cook top and was given a date. The day came & no one turned up. When I called to find out why I was told they had no record of a booking for me. They made another booking & the electrician that arrived couldn't fix it. He charged me $187 and told me someone would call me with a quote for the cost of parts & labor to effect a repair. I waited almost a month & no one called. I made repeated calls & was promised repeatedly that someone would call me back. No one ever did! I even spoke to their service manager who also promised to call me back. Two weeks later & still no call back. By now it was two months since the initial visit. The last time I called I finally got to speak to the spare parts person, only to be told the cost of the parts would be almost as much as a new cook top.
So I'm $187 out of pocket, been repeatedly ignored and have nothing to show for it. Not even an apology from the spare parts person for failing to call me back.
This site will not allow me to give a zero star rating which is all they deserve.
We had a failed Solar Inverter supplied and installed by another company. David Hough from Sharpe attended our home and quickly diagnosed the problem and provided us with a quote to replace and install a new Inverter. Yesterday David installed it. He was punctual, professional and went out of his way to explain how it functions. He also put metal clips on our solar panels replacing the plastic ties the original suppler had provided. David Hough is an absolute credit to Sharpe and we cannot speak highly enough of him and the company. We would not hesitate to use Sharpe again and would highly recommend Sharpe to anyone needing electrical plumbing or other services.
Brian installed our solar system smoothly and efficiently. Paul serviced our laundry plumbing very effectively, all taps working well again now.
Paul installed my new ducted gas heater today. He was extremely friendly and knew his job very well. He explained what he was doing in a language I understood. He even vacuumed after the job was completed. I couldn't be happier.
Thank you so much to Anthony, he was the technician who attended to my house. So professional and polite. He called 10 minutes before he arrived to let me know he was on his way, completed all of his work in a timely manner. I had 2 little ones home with me, he kept the noise to a minimum, which I was very grateful for. I can't sing his praise enough. Will definitely be using their services again and recommending them to all of my friends. Great job!!!
AGL effectively blew up our solar inverter when their technicians installed a new "smart" meter. After wrangling with them to agree to pay for the replacement, it was a pleasure to have one of Sharpe's technicians, Chris, come and install the new solar inverter. The installation went without a hitch and is working as it should. My wife and I are very happy with the service
Approximate cost: $2400
Our air conditioner lost its cooling power and so we arranged for one of the Sharpe Refrigeration electricians to call. Paul arrived on time and diagnosed the problem as leaking refrigation gas and attended to the problem. Happy with the outcome. We have used this service many times in the past at our old address.
Very fast response to my call for a Technician to carry out emergency repairs on our airconditioning system. The job was completed promptly, & efficiently. I will be contacting them again, for any future repairs, & servicing.
HEAT WAVE RELIEF
Aircon broke down in middle of Adelaide heatwave
Technician called promptly as arranged
He was friendly, understanding, and knowledgeable
In 30 mins he had diagnosed and fixed the problem
What more could you want?
Thanks Des for being so understanding and prompt with the repair of our washing machine. For friedly prompt (next day) and helpful service I would highly recommend Sharp.
Very friendly technician, explained in simple terms what he was doing, cleaned up after himself, prompt in arriving, well mannered, pleasure to have in our home
They were very professional, explained what needed to be done and costs involved, great job for fixing my oven and cleaning up. Thanks
Approximate cost: $600
Dan arrived at the time he was expected. He was very professional plus having an approachable attitude. He answered all my questions with understandable replies. The airconditioner now works excellently.
Had an electrician from ERS come to deal with some power points. He was on time, friendly, and seemed to really know his stuff. I was honestly expecting delays, surprise added costs, etc - but no, everything went smoothly and quickly! I would definitely use this service again!
Approximate cost: $100
It's always so hard to get tradesmen to turn up! I get sick of trying to get quotes and people never returning your calls or turning up when they say they will. I find these guys are always reliable. They always turn up to give you your quote and to do your work. You never need to chase them. Work is always done well and I have never had a problem. I would thoroughly recommend!
Repair to gas heater. This took almost 9 weeks to complete. First visit was $140 and not repaired - worse condition than before the repair!
Resulting in ringing daily to egt repairs carried out. Promised return calls that never happened. Parts finally installed at additional $250. Total job less than 1 hour.
A lot of wasted time, a "frequent user" voucher was provided but not accepted at time of payment. Use these people with great caution....I wont be recommending or using again.
Approximate cost: $400 +
ERS specialise in airconditoner checks, services and repairs but we used them to repair a problem we had with our gas oven, which was not working. Although it took several days before we could fix an appointment, the repairs were done professionally and on the spot. I would use them again for any repairs to gas, electrical or aircondtioning devices. But they are a busy company, so you might need to wait for a few days before they can arrange a call out.
Approximate cost: $190
Well after a couple of great experiences with these guys I have to say the last time I used them they let themselves down completely. Had someone come and fix my fridge and all was fine and dandy until it came time for the bill. They charge for every 15 minutes or part thereof and the guys seemed to be charging me for 1/2 hour more than what I thought he should be. When I queried it with him - all I got was a defensive and sullen response and he told me that he added 15 minutes for all the paperwork he had to do to at the end of the job which included writing up my invoice!! As a business owner the thought of actually charging my clients time to do finance admin is I believe not appropriate and I said so - well he then got quite grumpy with me and in the end I just paid it to get him out my house. Well he is just an employee/contractor so I decided to raise my concern with ERS Management. I sent them an email over 5 months ago and to date I still have not had any response. Now unfortunately I will not be using them again and more importantly I will not be recommending them to my clients.
I have used ERS a number of times for everything including broken refrigerator,air-conditioners, gas heaters, hot water service, general maintenance and electrical safety checks and have always found them great. Their initial fee is $110.00 which includes call out and their first 1/2 hour of work and then $38.50 per 15 minutes which may make them more expensive then other providers but they are always friendly, give you a 3 hour window and ring up if this can't be met, will call half hour before they arrive if requested, have quickly found the problem (if there was one) and rang back with a quote and then called back within a couple of weeks once the part has arrived if they don't have it in stock to make another appointment. I have used them over 10 times and they have given me the same level of service every single of time.
