Food is amazing and really nice. No reservations can be made but get there early. The duck is so amazing, full of flavour. Tables are sort of smallish - I never understand restaurants where the plates are so massive that any more than 3 plates on a table - you wont be able to add more plates - really stupid idea. For 4 of us we had to give a plate back because there was no where to put it. Apart from that the food is really nice and well worth a visit.

Like the hot pot here, the soup base is quite good. Normally will order some cold side dish with it. The chili beef, cold noodle and the shredded chicken in chili and sesame sauce. We can also dip the hot pot food into the chili and sesame sauce.yummy! It's always nice to gather with friend around the hot pot in winter!

I visited this place when I travelled to Sydney a number of months ago. I've done lots of research prior to the trip and searched for all the restaurants to visit. We ate here because I've seen some good reviews about this place.
When we got there, we ordered with a tablet. So you choose whatever ingredients you want in your hotpot.
We had different dim sims and hotpot. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed it very much. The price was very reasonable. The meal was very filling and we were very happy after the meal.

I love taking my friends to this place. It's always busy and that just adds to the atmosphere. The food comes quickly and the range available is wonderful. Really tasty food and we always seem to not be able to finish everything we order. It's always a surprise when you go to pay the bill and how cheap it is. The only bad side is don't overdress as it gets very hot in there.

Love hotpot. It is the best thing for Winter dinner. And this place is our first choice when we want hotpot. And the value is good, dishes are big enough.

I just love sichuan food very much.however, hotpot from shancheng is just soso.Went for sunday dinner with my husband. It was ok for me, just ok. The entrée was quite good, We ordered the chicken and spicy jelly for entrée. Chicken sauce was really good. I have no idea what kind of ingredients in there but really tasty. The hotpot was ok, we just ordered the mild spiciness but it was enough for us. I don't really like the spicy soup but it was good for normal soup.

It's my favorite hot pot restaurant. Fresh food, nice soup, various ingredients for hot pot and yummy source. Need to wait in a queue at peak hours. around $35 per person for 4-6 persons. The more the cheaper. Enjoy Chinese hotpot at Shancheng Hotpot King.
