A stylish Japanese restaurant with excellent service. The waitstaff were all very attentive and knowledgeable, and were happy to chat. Loved the food and drinks, but my favourite was my dessert: Chocolate fondant with a miso centre--unique flavours, and absolutely delicious!

As soon as we walked inside the place, we loved it with its colourful decor, wallpaper and the ambiance. The food was just amazing as well. Loved steamed prawn dumplings, steamed prawn dumplings and spider maki. The portion size was just right and friendly staff.

Incredibly dark in Sake, so great place for a 1st date in my opinion! We took Mum here for Mothers Day and we ordered the crispy chicken - which comes with a tomato salsa and a jalapeno dipping sauce, which totally burnt my mouth, I didn't mind as the chicken was delicious!
Mum loves the salt and pepper tofu, fluffy in the inside and crunchy on the outside! They also have temptiong yummy gyozas and steamed dumplings! Overall a lovely place for Mother's day ( they even gave my mum a bouquet of flowers) but the prices are a liltte expensive, so will come again when I have more money!!

Great restaurant and lovely atmosphere. I always enjoy going to this restaurant with my girlfriends since they have booth seating as well as regular/private dining. The food is fabulous, its probably one of my favourite Japanese dining places since they have a large variety on their menu that is still authentic however modern. The cocktails are also really delicious. Service was also good and pricing is reasonable for fine Japanese food.

Sake restaurant was a massive surprise - talk about sensory overload, wonderfully relaxed setting and great service. The range of sushi and sashimi available is fresh, original and importantly, done with perfection. The drinks list is impressive, and the sake variants that we tried were quite simply beautiful. Was a great night out for my wife and I - it costs a bit, but it was completely worth it. Get there if you have a chance - it is no wonder that this restaurant is revered in Sydney.

Absolutely beautiful japanese food accompanied by a brilliant cocktail selection. You have to be ready to splurge if you are coming to Sake. The miso cream scallop melts in your mouth. The tuna ceviche - you'll never find anything like it in a sushi takeaway. My must have every time i go is the chirashi salad – yuzu-dressed sashimi pieces, crunchy salad mix, thin noodles, sliced sushi omelette & flying fish roe, topped with daikon tsuma & tempura crunch. This salad is absolute magic!

Also great for celebrity spotting - Gary and Hayden from master chef were there, spotted Chris Hemsworth outside one day too.

Definitely a pay day treat - between 4 girls each with 2 cocktails we spent $110 per person

The Japanese food ranks among one of the best in the city, but with great food it also comes at a dear price. If one is looking for value for money, you won't find it here. Visited this restaurant for a party and it did leave a very good impression on me.

The food was simply wonderful and was done very well. I was impressed with what it had to offer and the large range of food as well as the innovation behind some of the more unique choices on the menu.

After seeing the restaurant on Master chef my partner and I really wanted to try it out. We were not disappointed. The girl who served us was friendly and had a fantastic sense of humor. The food was excellent and all freshly prepared, I highly recommend the Beef Titake for an entree.

There has been a bit of hype regarding the opening of this new Japanese restaurant. Their head chef is one who has had plenty of experience at very well-known Japanese restaurants in Sydney so it's no surprise that the food here is equally great but hopefully there will be some growth in his menu options.
