The meat is certainly more expensive than a supermarket and it is worth every delightful bite, it tastes the way meat used to taste - full and rich and loved. The tiny artisan butchery on the farm is perfect, local genuine free range eggs and hand-crafted sausages with no fillers are seriously wonderful. The owner is justifiably proud of his produce and is happy to share his knowledge. Maybe next time we will have the motorhome and camp overnight. :-)
