Rooftech Restorations

* Very pushy sales pitch.
* No written quote was provided - fortunately I clarified the scope in text messages.
* I was told there would be a 10 year warranty on the painting - I am yet to receive an invoice, receipt or written warranty that I could use should I need to.
* Offspray from paint went on items other than the roof (garden furniture, shed, car) and was not cleaned afterwards.
* Gutters became full of debris and blocked. Not a major issue but when I said I had to go up and clean them, they told me this voided the warranty.
* Payment was requested before the works were even finished because the owner needed to pay his staff. I stupidly made payment without completing a full inspection.
* When I did an inspection I found that a number of roof tiles were cracked (despite the owner of the company telling me all cracked tiles would be repaired) and the pointing was incomplete and done to a very poor standard.
* When I requested this be rectified I was told the warranty was void, as I had been on the roof (to do the inspection that the owner of the company failed to do).
* Weeks have passed with multiple phone calls and messages requesting the works be completed. A date for rectification has still not been locked in.
* Should the abovementioned issues be rectified I will amend my review accordingly but for now I remain a very disappointed customer.
