Rontons Auto Repairs

My much loved 1993 Volvo blew a head gasket two weeks ago. Car was Serviced (needed) head planed, gasket, spark plug leads, oil, coolant, wiper blades, foreign bolts in manifold and head replaced. heater valve. Returned well under 2 weeks despite parts in Victoria and losing 3 days of the fortnight.
I have heat, running like a dream. I have been going to Ronton's for many years and i have never been given false information. He is very reasonable. the only problem is that he is hard to get to from my place!!!!

Was originally happy past service, however being informed after a service that all brakes and disc needs replacing even though the rear was replaced just 8 months ago by Rontons and the car had done less than 8000KM at cost of $1300+ was a disappointment. Even worse when we gave the owner a second chance to explain, the response was that the rear wear faster than the front and the way we drive caused it to wear faster. I'm alittle surprised that a car used for school drop off will cause them to wear that quickly. Got a second inspection from RAA approved service and they said the rear does not need replacing and only had 10% wear and the wear should be same however the front usually takes most of the wear than the rear.. Our confidence was shattered.
