Rochedale Deli Cafe

So many of these reviews are old! This cafe is under NEW ownership from its early days - no longer a Deli. Just a standard cafe, nothing special; certainly no 'family feel' now.

Visited deli cafe this morning. Coffee was great. Food was delicious. I have never been for breakfast where my eggs have been cooked properly. Today was the exception. Will definitely be returning.

This café use to be better, I don't know what happened. Service slow, well they actually forgot one meal altogether. Apparently I misread the menu it was chips or salad with my very small serving of flathead fillets, and they really need to turn air conditioner on or have it repaired. We will not be back.

Fantastic little spot for sunday brunch. Make simply the best eggs benedict ive tried. My friends and I love to read the paper and enjoy a leisurely brunch in this little gem of a place.

Used to regularly pop into this Cafe on the way home from picking up kids after work. Depends whose serving as to what quality of service you get ie mature or young staff. Our slices and food on the handful of occasions were standard "cafe" food, definitely not amazing or restaurant standard. Seems to be a main hangout for school students in the outside area so don't go anymore unfort :(

Absolutely outstanding! The quality of the food from this deli is mindblowing! I would return over and over if I lived closer! Always a treat to pop by.

Wow this deli is fantastic. We live near the deli and eat here a lot. The service is wonderful and the meals are huge. You won't walk away from this cafe feeling hungry.

Went there for the first time yesterday and...WOW. You would think that I'd been a customer for years they were so helpful and friendly .Had the fish and it was delicious and moist. Nice fresh crunchy salad, too.

Being strict and pure vegetarian for over 20 years, myself and my family are very particular about the quality and cleanliness of food we eat, especially outside.

Rochedale Deli-cafe has continued to provide us with exactly this, it has become a polace we can always count when going out, to get a meal that we can trust to be clean and healthy.

Added to this the friendly and personalised service of the staff, plus the traditional family style of food service makes this one of our top regular eating out locations.

We always pass by this little cafe and notice how busy it is, so we tried it for breakfast one Sunday, quite some time ago. The food was tasty and prices were reasonable, although the service was not fantastic. It didn't look as though anyone was really 'managing' the cafe on that particular morning, but rather, there were young staff who were trying to do a good job but probably needed some more guidance and supervision. Overall, a reasonable experience, but we weren't impressed enough to return.

We were a bit nervous thinking that this was just a Deli come cafe/restaurant and we weren't sure what we would get, but what a pleasant surprise. The young lady who served us was extremely helpful and polite. The entree came out and was wow and then the mains, which were just as good. We had to try the dessert at the end as everything else was so good and they were just as good. The only negative was we wanted something on the menu, but they had run out, but this does happen sometimes. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and size and we will be going back for sure. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a fresh and delicious meal.

We have eaten here several times and the quality of the food and warm, friendly service has always been fantastic. I challenge anyone to find a restaurant which serves better gourmet fish meals than here...and at the same price! Highly recommended! This is a hidden gem.

Food was excellent. Went there for breakfast with my boyfriend and ate absolutely everything (I even wanted to eat the chef - Kalvin - he looked yummmmmmy!)

Food was excellent and good value for money. Presenation was a delight to the eye as it was to the mouth. The atmosphere was more like being part of a large family, the owners came out to talk to us which makes you feel special. We will definitely be going back there.

Rochedale Deli Cafe is simply amazing! Such a family/community atmosphere where all people are accepted and loved by the friendly staff. The food is of great quality and variety. The delicatessen also has great meats which diversify the products Rochedale Deli sells.

This Deli/Cafe would have to be the best around...service is quick, prices are competitive, staff make you feel like one of the family, nothing is too much trouble for them and the food is just fabulous....do yourself a favor and go try out one of the many dishes on the menu.... forgot to add the Di Bella coffee is to die for from someone who drinks ALOT of coffee. Rochedale Deli Cafe is a perfect place. From simple, fresh sandwiches, to a large gourmet pizza, they offer meals for all kinds of moods/hunger/time of day. I love going there to sit outside with my 'usual' coffee (I dont even have to tell them anymore!), and having a chat with their friendly staff. You can just tell at the Rochedale deli that their food and coffee is a passion, not a chore, so they only want to make the best. I love that.

BIG MEALS, GOOD FOOD, GREAT PRICES AND UNBELIEVABLE SERVICE. APPARENTLY THEY JUST GOT A NEW CHEF WHO USED TO WORK IN A 5 STAR RESTAURANT AND HE ALREADY LOVES IT.

Service is lovely, to everyone and anyone, and no matter WHO , they offer perfect service. I always watch and think; do you know them ? But the truth is, they remember customers, making friends and ensuring every experience is as, well, straightforwardly PERFECT !

Rochedale Deli Cafe has the best coffee around and fantastic food. The meals cause people just having coffee to exclaim "What is that" as they are carried by. The salads are fantastically fresh and when coupled with lasagne, quiche or crepes with ham etc. are worth visiting this cafe to try. I love the Vanilla Slices which I have been told are made by an authentic pastry chef from Hungary. The food and truly fantastic service keep me going back again again and again.

Staff are always very pleasant; food is always presented with fresh ingredients and we always go away satisfied; best coffee!! As a family we would visit the Deli approximately 4 times a week. Friends dine there as a result of our recommendation.

It's been a long time since I have been that happy with service , price, potion,quality and everything is freshly made.
