Had a terrible experience with Resort Trailers. Way over-priced and rude. Never go there, you will regret it.
Absolutely disgusting behaviour, workmanship, and professionalism.
I ordered a trailer from this company as I had used them in the past. I don't know if they have changed hands, but their business practices have certainly changed.
I'm a welder by trade, and know what I'm talking about. The welding on this trailer is very poor, absolutely no pride in workmanship, I doubt it was carried out by a tradesman.
The frame is 20mm out of square, it wasn't made to my specifications.
The wiring is lose and hanging down everywhere, even the compliance plate isn't attached square.
I drove 50klms home and found the trailer was already broken, it didn't last an hour. The Brakes broke!
Now Resort Trailers are refusing to come to pick it up to fix it, and rectify any of the issues.
Telling me I need to bring it to them.
I can't tow it as it doesn't have working brakes. I shouldn't have to take it to them, it's not my fault that it broke.
The woman on in the office just keeps making excuses for everything, and the manager won't even discuss it with me.
Approximate cost: $4000
Rude and WAY overpriced. Very poor customer service. Tries to up-sell everything by trying to convince you either you need it or that’s the law.
By far the worst experience I’ve had with any business. Don’t do it is all I can say.

I had just started a new mobile dog grooming business and was desperate to have my trailer registration transferred before Christmas. Resort Trailers was one of the few places that could squeeze me in for a blue slip. Unfortunately, some repairs were required to pass registration transfer and my rego was due within two weeks!! Resort Trailers went above and beyond to fit me in so I could keep my business operating. My trailer is also running much smoother. I highly recommend Resort Trailers for their customer service and for the great work they did on my trailer. I'm now thinking of using Resort Trailer's sign writing expertise for my business graphics, which based on the initial rough quote, are very reasonable.
