Redleaf Wedding Venue

My BFF held her wedding at this venue. It is supposedly child and pet friendly. While we were preparing for the ceremony my friend’s furbaby found a rat bait and ate some of it. Imagine if one of the small children had found it first! An emergency vet was contacted. The precious dog was induced to vomit and needed 1:1 supervision in the event that he may have still ingested enough poison to make him bleed internally. My friend than needed to decide whether to continue to get married by engaging a qualified professional pet sitter or postpone her much awaited wedding to the love of her life. A sitter was engaged and she was absolutely wonderful. Sitter and dog were fast-friends from first meeting. To make the situation even worse the owner of the venue was on the property during the afternoon and attempted to tell the pet sitter that she had to removed herself, her belongings and therefore my friend’s dog to the laundry and outside sitting area. He also informed the Wedding Planner that she was close to not having access to his venue for any future weddings. This owner was behind the scenes making everyone frustrated and agitated. They were trying their best to make my friend’s wedding the best day of her life and rememberable for all the right reasons. It is my opinion that future Brides give this venue a wide berth. The added stress is not worth it!
