Great Cafe with fantastic customer service - I hear it was the first hipster cafe in Melbourne! lol - not sure about that but a great place anyway
An old school local cafe. But not one without a signature style and real charm.
It is inside an old warehouse with exposed brick. Probably one of the first in Melbourne, long before it was a cool thing to do.
The food is great. I personally love their version of baked beans (a white bean tagine with cavolo nero, tomatoes, prune, baharat spices, goats cheese, dukkah & turkish bread). The rest of the menu is very good too. I particularly appreciate the fact that they do not charge a premium despite the quality and generous serving.
Approximate cost: $18
