Our family from Europe are here for Christmas and we all met up with their friends for a quick dinner. It was children eat free night and our grandchildren really enjoyed their fish and chips. The adults enjoyed their meals and I had calamari and chips which was great. It is a nice hotel and as we were earlish, it had not become a party hotel. We then took the children onto the beach for sand (and water! play). Great spot.
The Ramsgate has a very nice dining area, meals are really good, steak perfect, burgers perfect, schnitzel and chips perfect, the only thing really lacking is the service, the staff were so slow. My wife and I thought they had forgotten about us, so we gently reminded them after 40 minutes of nothing, they didn't really appreciate us bothering them, another 20 minutes later our meals arrived. As much as we really enjoyed our meals, the service was dreadful and I doubt we would bother trying again.
It is convenient to drive there and easy to find a parking place. I went there with my two friends and we had a great time there. It is always good to dine in and meanwhile I can enjoy the sea view.

I had dinner here thurs night with two others. I was surprised at the prices we ordered salt and pepper squid and 2 chicken parmies it only came to $37 we were shocked. We later found out that on Thursdays they have $10 parmies. We received our meal about 10 mins later. The only complaint we had was the serving size was quite small. There was only about 5 small pieces of squid on a bed of chips. It tasted good though. We were still hungry so we ordered a dozen oysters. Overall it was a good experience can't expect much more for $37. We will be returning.
Staff are friendly, meals are decent sizes, price is as you would expect, but what wins it for me is the location..... Being so close to the beach just adds to the atmosphere
Service is fast and civil. Lots to choose from on the menu. Food is tasty - although not very generous in size.

Went there a few weeks back with a group of mates and the parmys were great. Not too expensive and decent sized servings which was nice. Staff were friendly and we didn't have to wait too long for the food.
The food is absolutely delicious there! Highly recommended but the prices should be abit lower for the the size of the meal.

A great place to meet up for drinks but can get VERY busy, especially in summer. Meals are good but are smaller than they used to be. The live music is always good but doesnt really allow for conversation.
