Ive been a member of the RAA for a while now and each time Ive called on them, they have got to me within 15 minutes. Friendly team. Have been very reliable and professional. Thanks RAA.
I've been a RAA member since 1978. I was told that RAA have been struggling to attract new members for a long time now.
The phone service for a booking is absolutely shocking.
I had to wait for someone to answer first time around 20 mins and a second time same day, to find out why a tow truck booked 3 hours prior to my second call was so late, took another 16mins for them to answer!!!
Like every other customer service these days, RAA is now joining the rest. I've never had problems with RAA before, so very disappointed that my whole day has been wasted waiting for service!!!
At least they're not using COVID and lack of staff as excuse, just that they happen to be extra busy at the time you call
Maybe stop cutting costs that affect members to this degree!
Highly recommend based on the cost and the dedicated local agents.
I wouldn't, you'd think with RAA+ you'd be shown an ounce of respect from the staff. But instead some of them try and get on their high horse, act like they are full of automotive wisdom yet. Will not tow your vehicle if dangerous, drives at 10kmh and says the vehicle is fine. Vehicle clearly a deathtrap, nearly died driving it home thanks to RAA and their excuses for not being able to tow. Always a catch with these morons, not to mention most roadside assist is incredibly basic stuff and nothing more.
My car broke down on Christmas eve on a hill with limited vision either way. Iwas helped by lovely strangers until the raa arrived. He was so nice and gave me water and offered to drive me to the shops. The tow driver was amazing. He was professional and sorted out a sticky situation quickly. His name wad Timothy. Thankyou raa

always gives great service
I have been a member of the RAA for over 50 years now and still use their services in different ways. In the early days our old car could cause problems, our insurance was held with the RAA and our holidays were guided by their maps and strip maps. These days we are more likely to be looking for different travel information and the discounted Woolworths wish cards which then save 5% off Woolworths shopping. Great service over the years. Thank you RAA
I have been with the RAA since I turned 18. Have had a few call outs over the years. It's great that you can use your membership card for discounts, we have found using it at Wallis Cinemas has saved us quite a bit of money. RAA are fabulous.
This is an automobile association which provides a number of services for members. As well as road side assistance, there are travel consultations, maps and books for sale and also discounted Woolworths gift cards. The gift cards enable a discount of 5% of your Woolworth stores shopping. Every little bit helps.
I have been a member of the RAA association for over 50 years and have always been happy with the membership I hold. Recently visited the Hindmarsh Square office and found a great array of maps of various levels for our next motoring trip. Helpful service, good price for a book of maps covering Australia and also some Woolworths Wish cards which are sold with a 5% discount. So a successful visit
I have been with the RAA/RACV for over 20 years now, have always found them to be great when I had car trouble. I have picked up some maps at times and always found them to be very helpfu.
Life savers! My business runs smoothly, as I can call them 24/7.
I have been with them for nearly 2 years now, and have used them probably more than most. My car caught on fire and they towed both me and my partner home with the car, absolutely free of charge as I was a member. I've never had to wait long for help to arrive, and when it does I'm greeted with a smile.
Raa is great. We live in the country so we have to wait longer lol. But a great service
The RAA is fantastic. I rang about a flat tyre and they were with me within 1/2 hour. Serviceman was fantastic - there was an issue with the tyre so he arranged a tow, talked to a couple of people about what needed to be done to rectify the problem and kept me informed the whole way along.
I have been a member of the Royal Automobile Association for over 40 years. It has always provided me with a sense of security even though I have only needed to call for help a couple of times. They also provide many other services for members and one of the latest ones is 5% discount on Woolworths Wish gift cards. This helps keep supermarket prices down for me. Also there is no joining fee at the moment for those wishing to join. Free help in planning driving trips available too. Worth investigating
Sounds fantastic!
Flat battery in the ute last week meant we had to call the RAA. I think they took half an hour or so to arrive. When the chap arrived, he wasn't terribly friendly but changed the battery with minimal bother and we were happy. We received a letter 3 days later apologising for their tardiness in not getting to us quickly enough! I was floored yet very impressed. Followups are always a good sign
Approximate cost: $50
WOW that's great follow up.
RAA. Top for road service. I locked my keys in the car, they came out in 20 minutes. I broke my key off in the ignition, again 20 minutes. Battery went flat, they had a new one on the spot, in 40 minutes.
I cannot complain with this kind of service!
Was stranded out of no were and the raa wouldnt sent anyone out. I tried to explain that i paid for full membership and had the receipt in front of me but the lady on the phone said that i wasent a menber. So i had to ring my husband for help. raa didnt even said sorry Ever since that happened i never joined again . Waist of time & money.
That sucks, I have always had really good service from RAA - at one point I had 3 call outs in a week and they have always been really good about it.
There must have been some underlying anomaly with your request for service which prevented a call out. I have been a member for 47 years and have never had a bad experience with the RAA
Called the R.A.A. for service regarding a suspected flat battery. The chap on the 'phone told me that the service guy should be there within the hour. Thirteen minutes later the van arrived and the service chap had the problem diagnosed in quick time. As was suspected, a new battery was required. The technician had the battery on board and he had it fitted and tested, paid the money did the paperwork and was gone in twenty minutes. Thoroughly professional and friendly service. I have been a member of the RAA for 47 years and have not found it necessary to use the service very often, but when I do need them they are fast, efficient and courteous. It pays to be a member.
Approximate cost: $171
My Mother used them on a few occasions over they years, once when the master brake cylinder failed. It was comforting to know the patrolmen are quick at diagnosis. All we knew was we had no brakes - very scary on a metropolitan downhill road. They arranged a tow home too. We were within distance of free tow too.
