Pulse Pharmacy

I purchased two tins of Heinz Starter Birth-6 Month baby formula and when I got it home I realized that 1 tin was over 6 months out of date and the other was 'use by September 2007' so it was over 1 year out of date. I went back to the store to return it and the manager was not there as it was a Monday. I spoke to a staff member instead and she became rude with me and did not want to return my money. She basically said that it was baby formula (powder form) and it would be fine to use which was quite shocking to hear from them. They then offered to swap over the tins for other ones on the shelf so when I picked up the same brand it was also out of date. I then demanded my money back which she eventually did then I walked out. To suggest that you could give a newborn baby 1 year out of date baby powder just shocked me. If she had bothered to even open the tin she would have seen it was not right and it just smelled strange. This pharmacy really needs to check their stock when it comes in, especially infant powder as my newborn could have became very ill if I had not seen the used by date first.
