When was your business founded?

Prime Build Solutions was established in 2020 in Melbourne, Victoria. Since then, we have grown steadily through word-of-mouth referrals and repeat clients who value our attention to detail and genuine customer care.

We proudly stand behind all our work. Prime Build Solutions provides a 7-year structural guarantee and complies fully with Victorias Domestic Building Contracts Act 1995. All workmanship and materials are covered by relevant manufacturer warranties and our own defect liability period for added peace of mind.

What is your level of experience in this line of work?

Our director and team have over 20 years of hands-on experience in residential construction, renovations, and building supervision across Melbourne. Weve successfully delivered projects ranging from home extensions and bathroom upgrades to full renovations and new builds.

Full registration with the Victorian Building Authority (VBA)

What is your fee structure like? Fixed fees? Hourly rates?

We offer transparent, project-based pricing. Most of our jobs are fixed-price contracts that include all agreed works upfront, ensuring there are no hidden costs.

What are your current prices (fixed and variable)?

Each project is individually estimated based on the plans, scope, and complexity of the work. We always conduct a site visit and detailed consultation to provide accurate and transparent pricing. This ensures our clients understand the full costs before any work begins, with no hidden surprises.

Are you a member of any professional / industry associations?

PrimeBuild Solutions follows standards set by the Master Builders Association of Victoria (MBAV) and the Building Practitioners Board (VBA) guidelines. We are also active in local builder and trades networks in South-East Melbourne.

What is your favourite thing about your job?

We take great pride in transforming ideas into reality. Seeing our clients satisfaction at the end of each project and knowing weve improved the way their families live is the most rewarding part of what we do.

What are your payment terms and conditions? Do you offer payment plans? Afterpay? Interest-free terms?

Payments are made progressively by project stage as outlined in the building contract (deposit, progress, completion).
We also offer flexible payment arrangements for long-term or multi-stage projects. (We dont currently use Afterpay or interest-free finance options.)

PrimeBuild Solutions is a family-owned business that combines personal care with professional construction standards. We treat every home as if it were our own providing honest advice, clear communication, and top-quality workmanship.
Our clients deal directly with the builder, not a sales rep, ensuring every detail is delivered exactly as promised.

What insurance do you hold, and what value are you covered for?

We maintain full Public Liability Insurance (up to $20 million) and Construction Works Insurance for all ongoing projects. In addition, every eligible residential building project is covered under Domestic Building Insurance (DBI) provided by the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA), giving homeowners added protection and peace of mind. All subcontractors engaged by Prime Build Solutions are also fully insured and meet our strict on-site safety requirements.

How quickly can work be completed? What are your turnaround times? Do you offer same-day service?

Turnaround times depend on project size:

Small renovations: 13 weeks

Medium projects (kitchen/bathroom): 36 weeks

Large extensions or builds: 816 weeks

We prioritise realistic timeframes to ensure quality. While same-day service isnt typical for construction, we do offer fast site inspections and quotation visits within 48 hours.

Do you have a favourite client story you'd like to share?

One of our favourite projects was a full home renovation in Narre Warren, where a young family wanted to modernise their old property while staying on a tight budget. We guided them through cost-effective material choices and design adjustments and seeing their joy when they moved back in was truly special.

Do you have any special offers? Do you offer any bulk or volume discounts?

Yes we regularly provide seasonal promotions or package discounts for multiple-room renovations (e.g., kitchen + bathroom together). We also offer referral rewards for clients who recommend us to family or friends.
