Prendergast and Grace Bakery Cafe

absolutely loved this place! i was greeted bu lovely staff who were very friendly and the coffee i had was very nice and made just the way i like it. i tried one of there home made tarts and it was very yummy, while i got my daughter one of there home made biscuits that she absolutely loved. definately plan on going here alot more often.

Prendergast and Grace is a great place for lunch or coffee. Their food is delicious, just like eating at home, and very reasonably priced. The gluten free Florentines are awesome!

The food is amazing here they make some yummy biscuits and slices the staff are great and husband seems to like there coffee a lot so that's a bonus would highly recommend going here even if its just for a coffee and biscuit

I had the best vanilla slices from Pendergast & Grace last time I visited Melbourne and I also love all the other slices they make - Rocky Road, Pepperment, Caramel, Lemon & Hedgehog. Will be back to try more cakes next time I'm on my travels, lovley staff and friendly service and very pleased with the prices.

The food here is made on the premises, which I really appreciate and enjoy. (I really don't like seeing the same, mass-produced food everywhere I go). There is a good variety of hot food and lots of sweet treats, which are their speciality.
The food is very good value - big serves and great quality.
They made the best iced coffee I have had!
The staff are friendly, and the place is quite cosy.
Entry from the front street uses a few steps, but there is access for the disabled at the rear.
You can buy their cakes and biscuits in take-home packs.
I have eaten here several times and the experience has been consistently good.

we had a amazing eggs benedict for breakfast here. I thought my husband made the best egg benedict but these guys beat his by inch. They were amazing. I recommend this place to everyone. The coffee is good also. we are looking forward to our next breakfast here. The service was fantastic. I highly recommend.

I was on my way to work when I saw on their blackboard - Special $2.50 scrambled eggs. I was starving having missed breaky and so I called in... I'm so glad I did!

The eggs were delicious - light and fluffy, cooked to perfection. It was a huge serve, which I gave my best shot but sadly was defeated. The friendly owner who served my meal hot, fresh from the pan told me he uses 3 eggs per serve.

The waitress was also friendly and efficient and she makes a great pot of tea. No teabags here, proper leaf tea, served with extra hot water just the way I like it. The whole thing came to $5.00 – amazing value! I appreciated the special, but with usual prices also reasonable and such great service and quality I'll be back.

This place is way above average... it has personality and flair. Great coffee, food and service. The sweet treats are amazing and lots of old favourites. Excellent value for money... highly recommend.

Thank goodness I found this good old fashioned traditional Bakery Cafe!!! This place is everything you expect, seriously good coffee and seriously good food at a really good price. We will be back the service is excellent too.

Ventured back again to this lovely bakery cafe and it does not disappoint! Wonderful hearty winter meals on offer and excellent value. Friendly, efficient staff and a great selection of sweet treats. Right on the mark and highly recommended.

I work in the area and often get take away lunches. The customer service woman that is always there (Megan I think). Is always the same. Very polite and friendly and her service is quick. However, I was not impressed with the change in opening hours as there was no visible notification of the change.

I have visited Prendergast and Grace several times with my toddler. It is very family friendly with a warm welcoming atmosphere and the music is always relaxing. The coffee is impeccable and the food delicious, especially the cookies that my little one loves, home-made and free of any nasties. It is defintely worth a visit.

This place is a wonderful, traditional bakery cafe. The food is all hand-made and it is excellent value for money. Service is impeccable and the coffee is superb! They have a seemingly endless supply of home-made sweet treats....... YUM. You can choose from biscuits, cakes, slices, tarts, muffins, cup cakes and they even do gift hampers. It was such a relief to find Prendergast and Grace, they do not disappoint.
