BIRKDALE store in Qld was 50% more expensive than other Poolwerx stores for Chlorine. No interest in matching and filled my drums before telling me how much more expensive they were so I had no choice but to pay the expensive price. The store manager/owner said they didn’t do a swap system on chlorine, even though I provided the empty drums. So I was charged the same as if I didn’t bring empty drums. The manager/owner didn’t seem to care and just said that’s the price. It was a “too bad” attitude. And then two of them watched while my wife and I carried the 20 kg drums to the car. Worst service and attitude I’ve had at a pool store. Will never go in this store again. So unimpressed with price and staff attitude. Was looking at robots in store but left with only my super premium priced chlorine

We used to use PoolWerx initially to buy products for our pool, chlorine etc, but found we never had time for the upkeep, so we ended up using them to maintain our pool.
Vest decision we ever made. The pool was always beautifully clean and healthy, and we didn't have to lift a finger.
I'm so happy with the service I get from these guys, my pool always looks good. I recommend getting them out to check filters and pumps to improve the longevity of your pool. I've always found them to be courteous and helpful and their shop is nearby for when I have to pick up salt/algecide.
have used these guys many times over the years we have a few pool shops closer but find the service here A1 and they have always helped us without any hassles in the past, and are always able to do house calls and save us money if theyre is a way keep up the great work PoolWerx Birkdale ..
We bought a home with a pool in January of 2009. I saw their van in the traffic and called these guys - they came out & showed us how everything worked and spent quite some time with us - early one morning as my hubby had to go to work & I wanted him to be there. We have been to a couple of different places in the past 3 years - for convenience & 2nd opinion but just keep coming back to these guys. They changed hands a little while ago and the friendly service has continued. They have outstanding customer service and I really appreciate that. Its also nice to know that the staff are not looking down at you because you don't know what they do about swimming pools. Thanks Poolwerx Birkdale - keep up the fantastic job.
I don't know if this place has had a change in management, but we have since stopped going to this shop eventhough it is the closest one. I have found them rude, and non friendly. Lost my business with them.
I came in and had my pool water tested- the staff took the water and tested it for various things, and then advised me as to what was needed for the pool water to have correct chemistry. I had to buy some alkalinity increaser and some hydrochloric acid.

Services are very reasonably priced, technicians and retail staff are friendly and helpful. Feels like your being looked after and that you are cared about. Good variety of products.
