Plush Sofas

We were very excited to receive our new lounge, only to find it was delivered with blood stains on it from the delivery people - one of them obviously had a cut and bled on the lounge whilst bringing it into the house. We took photos and called Plush straight away to let them know, expecting apologies and a replacement sofa. That was 4 weeks ago. We have had nothing but the runaround from their overseas call centre. Every time we call the Fortitude Valley store we are told there’s nothing they can do because it has to be handled by the customer service team overseas. Even went back into the store to try and reason with them, but they would have nothing to do with it. Now they are saying it has to be assessed by a furniture cleaner and cleaned. Do they not understand how disgusting this is, having a sofa in our house with someone’s blood on it for the last month. We do not want a cleaned couch. We ordered and paid for a new sofa, and thats what we expect. Absolutely atrocious treatment, has ruined our experience.

Salesperson at the store has assured me that it definitely won't get changed again. I'll update this review once this has happened....

I'm so sick of plush already. Regretting my purchase and don't even have my lounge yet. Sales team in store were super nice and I purchased this lounge in Sep 23. It's their after sales that is the absolute worst. I organised for my card to be pre-authorised for the remaining balance and to be charged once delivery was confirmed. This never happened which meant my delivery date got moved. Even though I rang up within minutes of them changing the date, apparently there was no more truck. I find that very hard to believe but it is what it is. So, I sucked it up and moved to the next available date. Rang up 3 times in the lead up to confirm and was assured that I was absolutely booked for 21 Dec. 2 days before delivery, I now just get an automated message saying moved to 23 Dec without any valid reason. I ring up and ask why, it's the no truck excuse again. This just isn't right and the staff do nothing about it. I have no faith that my couch is going to actually be delivered on Saturday. Avoid at all costs if you actually want a lounge delivered when they say it will.

They used to be great however ever since they've been bought by Nick Scali their service is disgraceful. Plenty of other better more ethical companies out their to buy from so save yourself some grief and give these guys a miss.

Please dont go to Plush - Warranty & Customer service unreliable - No visibility on progress of claims - Long hours on call waiting. Clear betrayal on warranty promises - Sunk cost.

We have been waiting for our lounge for more than 3 months. Finally we were notified by the OVERSES delivery team via SMS that our longe will be delivered at a date and time they have decided for us, with no option to change the time/date or contact number.

We managed to contact the courier who was supposed to let us know if they can change the delivery time. While we were waiting, we received another SMS notifying us that our delivery was rescheduled to the next month! as they said we were uncontactable even though
we tried calling customer service several times, but no one answered and the callssimply ended.
Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing!
Now we need to wait another month for our lounge!
Plush are saying it's the courier who decides on the delivery and the courier said it's Plush.
We are very unsatisfied with the service, especially after paying top $$$ for their product.
Avoid at all cost!

Very poor customer service. Paid nearly $200 for delivery with our original quote. Then going to be charged an additional $180 delivery. Have been waiting for these couches since December 2021. Half of our order has been waiting at the warehouse for over a month and still no delivery. Then recieved a text message with date but nil ability to change this date or time, or anyway to contact them. Unable to contact via email or through multiple messages left with the call centre team. Told by multiple people we would recieve a reply in the next business day however it has been 4 weeks and had no contact other than a text message. Very disappointed.

What a disaster. Avoid at all costs. Bought a new sofa a year ago. $3,455 ‘on sale’ from circa $6k. Arrived with a fault in the fabric. Have been emailing them for a year. They sent out a technition who said the entire fabric piece needs replacing. Delays ‘because of COVID.’ It’s been a YEAR. It’s not a valid excuse anymore. I want it replaced, have contacted them numerous times and nothing. Does this look like a quality, high end sofa to you? Terrible quality and terrible service

love the furniture in here very colourful and invigorating for new ideas to revamp your home. customer service is great and helpful on ideas very sturdy couches easy parking great staff.

Great funky/ fashionable furniture at reasonable prices, you can get the look without forking out big dough! They often have big specials so keep your eyes open and even can get interest free - doesn't get much better. The staff, when you can get hold of one are friendly and helpful.

Its a great stored filled with so many lovely pieces of furniture. We tend to go there every so often to see if they have any specials on our wish list furniture items.

An amazing showroom where you can trial all of the range of sofas. I was a little worried about the price tag at first but I purchased an enormous sofa (The Melbournian) in chocolate leather and I purcahsed it using their 2yrs interest free option. This was easy to apply for and relatively quick. The sofa took 3 months to be delivered (which is standard) and it was delivered by two moving men (Plus use their own delivery drivers rather than contracting out). They were very careful when moving the sofa and they put it all together for me and unwrapped it all too so that I didn't have to worry about removing the plastic wrap and accidently scratching the sofa. I have had the sofa for a whole year now and it is abosolutely incredible. I do not think I could have purchased a better item. It has been extremely comfortable and the quality has held despite numerous vistors and three children using it all the time. I clean it once a fortnight with leather cleaner and apart from the small creases (as you should expect anyway with leather) it still looks brand new.

I think you can buy a more expensive sofa but there is no need - this one was $4K and is worth every cent - supremely comfortable (everybody comments on the luxurious comfort), very good looking and so easy to clean. I highly recommend products from this store.
