A great place to grab a quick bite to eat on the upper floor of Canberra Centre with plenty of sitting to choice from. Different yet exciting varieties of pies are available, though I though found that they were a little expensive. Service is decent.
everytime i go into canberra centre i visit the pie face shop they have so much variety and different flavors and spices i love the chicken pie so tasty and great coffee
Love the variety of pies at pie face. The pies are always served hot and delicious. My favourite is the Chicken and mushroom pie (costs $4.95). The steak and mushroom pie is a bit too meaty for my liking. Still, the prices at pie face are very reasonable. The service staff are very efficient too.
The sausage rolls are unlike any I've tried at other cafe/take-away places - $3.40 (I think?) for a decent sized sausage roll with not just meat inside, but chopped up carrot & onion too. Really delicious!
One of the most highly recommended cafes in Canberra - and a personal favourite of mine. Their coffee is made so well, and you can choose from 5 strengths. The prices for coffee are very reasonable, especially compared to other places - it's only $2.80 for a regular cup (the 2 sizes are regular & large). There are also delicious snacks like almond sticks, huge cookies, and melt-in-your-mouth chocolate pies made by a French baker daily. You can't go wrong - and visiting PieFace is a HUGE must!!
A good strong coffee with a pie -- you can't go wrong with that on a day you feel like a snack or a light lunch :)
