When was your business founded?

Perth Digital Edge was founded in 2015, giving us over a decade of experience helping Western Australian businesses grow their online presence. We started right here in Perth and have proudly served the local market ever since.

What guarantees or warranties do you offer, if any?

We stand behind every project we deliver. All websites come with a 30-day post-launch support period at no extra charge, covering any bugs or issues that arise from our work. For ongoing clients, we offer service level agreements that outline response times and resolution commitments in writing. If we say we'll deliver something, we deliver it.

What is your level of experience in this line of work?

Our team collectively brings over 40 years of hands-on experience across web design, development, SEO, and digital marketing. Our senior staff have worked on projects ranging from small local trade businesses through to national e-commerce platforms, giving us a genuine understanding of what works at every scale. We've completed more than 500 projects since opening our doors.

Our team holds Google Partner certification, Meta Blueprint credentials, and our developers maintain current qualifications in platforms including WordPress, Shopify, and WooCommerce. We've been recognised as a Top Rated digital agency on Clutch and have received local recognition through the Perth Business Awards. Our team members hold degrees in Information Technology, Graphic Design, and Marketing from Australian universities.

What is your fee structure like? Fixed fees? Hourly rates?

We offer both fixed-price and hourly arrangements depending on the nature of the work. Most project-based work such as website builds, branding packages, and SEO audits are quoted at a fixed price so there are no surprises. Ongoing support, maintenance retainers, and consulting work are typically billed at an hourly or monthly retainer rate. We always agree on the structure upfront in writing before any work begins.

What are your current prices (fixed and variable)?

Our website design packages start from $2,500 for a professionally designed five-page business website. E-commerce builds start from $4,500. SEO packages begin at $1750 per month. Logo and branding packages start from $900. Hourly consulting rates start at $155 per hour. All pricing is in Australian dollars and includes GST where applicable. We provide a detailed written quote for every project before we start.

Are you a member of any professional / industry associations?

Yes. Perth Digital Edge is a member of the Australian Web Industry Association (AWIA) and the Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman network. We also maintain active membership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Western Australia (CCI WA), reflecting our commitment to operating professionally and ethically within the local business community.

What is your favourite thing about your job?

Honestly, it's the moment a client sees results they didn't think were possible. Whether that's a tradie in Osborne Park who suddenly has the phone ringing every day from Google, or a retailer in Fremantle who's selling products interstate for the first time, those outcomes are what get us out of bed in the morning. We genuinely care about Perth businesses succeeding, and being part of that is something we never take for granted.

What are your payment terms and conditions? Do you offer payment plans? Afterpay? Interest-free terms?

For project-based work, we typically require a 50% deposit to commence and the remaining balance on completion. For larger projects over $5,000, we offer milestone-based payment schedules split across the project timeline. We accept bank transfer, credit card, and PayPal. We do offer interest-free payment plans through our own instalment arrangement for eligible clients. We don't currently offer Afterpay, but flexible terms can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

What makes you unique compared to your competitors?

We are a genuinely local Perth business, not a remote agency pretending to be local or an overseas outfit with an Australian phone number. When you work with us, you meet us face to face, you know who is doing your work, and you can call us directly. We don't use cookie-cutter templates or offshore everything the moment you sign up. Every strategy we build is tailored specifically to your market, your competitors, and your customers. We also believe in educating our clients rather than keeping them dependent on us.

What insurance do you hold, and what value are you covered for?

Perth Digital Edge holds professional indemnity insurance to $2 million and public liability insurance to $10 million. We are happy to provide a certificate of currency on request. Our insurances are reviewed annually and kept current so that our clients and their projects are properly protected.

How quickly can work be completed? What are your turnaround times? Do you offer same-day service?

Turnaround times depend on the scope of the project. A standard five-page website is typically delivered within two to three weeks from the receipt of all content and a confirmed brief. SEO audits are usually returned within five business days. For smaller tasks such as content updates, landing pages, or graphic amendments, we can often turn work around within 24 to 48 business hours. For urgent requests, we do offer a priority service for an additional fee, and in some cases same-day turnaround is possible for minor updates. Just ask us and we'll let you know what's achievable.

Do you have a favourite client story you'd like to share?

One that stands out is a family-owned roofing business in the northern suburbs of Perth that came to us after years of relying entirely on word of mouth. They had no website, no Google presence, and were turning down work because they couldn't find enough leads. Within three months of launching their new site and local SEO campaign, they were fielding more enquiries than they could handle and had to take on an additional apprentice. Seeing a local family business genuinely thrive as a result of what we do together is exactly why we do this work.
