O'Rourke Monuments

My husband and I went to O'Rourke Monuments after seeing their work at another cemetery, we were so impressed that we employed Jim, the owner, to craft our headstones. After explaining exactly how we wanted our headstones to be designed and Jim drawing outlines and drafts of same, the finished products were delivered exactly to our requests. We were impressed and very satisfied with the outcome and Jim's level of precision, and detail to his work. His commitment to his trade is commendable. We highly recommend O'Rourkes Monument to anybody who is wanting a job completed to perfection.

Jim is definitely a man to trust and I would recommend him to anyone anytime. My family thanks him for being patient and understanding when making the lay out and time factor that it took to choose a suitable photo for our mum. The man/business is professional/honest and a great communicator, all my dealings with Jim were done by email, as I live quite a distance from the cemetery where now both my parents lay. He matched the lettering/color perfectly to our fathers and performed magic on the photo that we supplied to him. Believe me that was a tall order. If in 30 years time when the stone/inscription needs restoration I would not hesitate in asking Jim to perform the work.

I had an unusual and unique request that no one could help me with, but Jim stepped up to the challenge and far exceeded my expectation of the finished product. He is a very caring person who made me feel completely at ease, not rushing or pushing which I sometimes found occurs when dealing with busy people. And at these awful moments when you do need a compassionate and understanding person, Jim was more like a friend than a business aquaintance. I would thoroughly recommend him for his personal and friendly manner,he certainly took interest and pulled no stops in giving me a beautiful and fitting memorial. After the sudden passing of my mum, my family and i knew that there was a specific monument my mum wanted. The first headstone my wife and i saw was at the Keilor Cemetery was one of Jim's. Judging by the quality of his workmanship and attention to detail we both knew that there was no need to look any further. Jim proved to be both caring and compassionate to our needs. Jim sourced the best white marble from Italy so that it would be both strong and maintenance free. Jim also went the extra mile and reinforced the monument so that it will never move due to the earth's surface beneath it shifting.
