My experience was weird with eye testing by Optometrist at the store. I had already selected frame and nature of glasses but decided to ahead with the eye tests.
On undertaking basic eye test I was told retina scanner and other machines are not working and those tests can’t be done today. No follow appointments were booked for the same optometrist. The way conversation went , it was obvious, it was just an excuse. Not sure what all Medicare got billed for!!!!
Not going back to her ever again. Pity sales staff were good but bad experience with optometrist spoils the brand name of opsm
I just wanted to say a massive thank you to the beautiful people at Opsm canberra city. From the lovely optometrist to the staff. They were so helpful and welcoming. I had my young daughter with me they had stickers and drawings for her while I had my appointment and picked glasses

the staff was very helpfull. i have a problem with one of my eyes and one of the workers there did everything to check what was wrong, he explained everything and the possiblites of what it could be. the workers also helped me out with picking glasses. very good place and always people around to help.
When I first walked into OPSM I noticed three staff immediately but it took approximately 5 mins to be acknowledged and 10 mins for a staff member to assist me. The staff were not all busy, two were talking to each other about shoes. The store was well lit which is important when you have a vision problem and the space was used effectively. When I did get assistance for a staff member they were very helpful and pulled off all the glasses on the shelves that they believed suited me. After I had found suitable glasses I asked how long it would take to get the item. I was informed it would take two and a bit weeks to book a eye test and 10 more days to fit the glasses with lenses which I believe is too long to wait. I wouldn't return to this store again because I know I can get service quicker anywhere else.
