O'Keeffe Interstate Removalists & Storage

O'keeffe's moved my furniture interstate, and like the post below 85% of items were damaged. He also did not deliver a further 15 items until a month later, after I found out that he had not paid the company he had engaged to backload my property. I will be taking him to court. He doesn't even have a registered business address, the one listed here is fake!! Absolute disgrace, I look forward to seeing him in court.

We moved from Perth to Sydney and O'Keeffe removals managed to damage just about every piece of furniture we own. For example, our stainless steel fridge has numerous dents on the front door plus damage to the handle, a leather sofa has a large scrape to one side, outdoor wicker patio furniture has holes, dining room chair leather is punctured, white gloss TV cabinet has damage to one side, bedside tables are damaged, barbecues dented, numerous picture frames smashed. The list goes on. On delivery the owner of the company admitted liability and offered to send around "a handyman". He left and we never heard again from him. We documented the damage and supplied it within 7 business days to him according to the contract. That was 10 days ago and we have still had no communication from him despite additional attempts to contact him. I would certainly not recommend this company. Despite the damage, the lack of communication after delivery regarding the damage is very poor.

Moved from Perth to Sydney 3 months ago and very happy I choose OKeeffe Removals. Stewart knows how to run a successful transition & his customer service really set him apart from other companies. Although we choose the rainiest day of the year to move, them team managed to keep our belonging dry & all items were OK 3 months later when we moved into our Perth residence. (Stewart arranged a great storage deal for us.) I would recommend these guys for your next move. Good price & the know how to get the job done.

Stewart was so professional, caring, kept in contact and was very fast. Moving is often stressful and emotional. I had five moves in three years and had experienced damage to my possessions and the rental property I moved into. It was such a relief to have Stewart move me so effortlessly and without any hiccups and at a competitive price.

I have previously had bad experiences with removalists. Stewart from O'Keeffe Removals and Storage was fantastic. He and his team were polite, efficient and hard working. I would recommend them without any hesitation.

Next time I move a shipping container I will wrap and pad items more thoroughly. Movement during shipping caused corners of furniture to scratch and gouge neighbouring items. Our container was exceptionally full though and the boys did a good job of fitting everything in. Couldn't fault the service - excellent communication and a friendly team all the way.

In October last year my son moved to Melbourne from Sydney. We stumbled across Stewart by chance. I highly recommend them. Not only were they on time, well priced, very careful with my son's possessions but they are really nice guys. You can tell that they really care. Honest and dependable, which is hard to find these days. They will be the first and only company I will call in the future.
