Really appalled at the quality of service I experienced today especially from a store where employees literally outnumbered the number of customers.
My story:
The checkout worker told me that someone would come to assist me with my query regarding a mouse being in stock. After 15 minutes of waiting, I started to walk around the store and realised just how lazy the staff were. Multiple staff just bantering, one in particular was pretending to sort out printer ink (I literally caught this one having a full blown conversation on snapchat) - when I had enough of waiting, I grabbed a random mouse as I needed it for work and it was getting late (8pm Thursday night) - and funny enough, only right at the end, did someone else come to front to ask what was needed from the back - I suspect the checkout worker requested for someone to help again, even though I clearly heard him initially requesting for "can someone go to the back to grab [model name][model number] and help a customer in the Mouse isle".
I can definitely say this is not my typical experience with other Officework stores in my locale, but I felt compelled to write this review as this isn't my first time being disappointed by this Officeworks, but surely the most frustrating of my experiences.
Was in there this morning wanting to purchase some products. Had no staff help me. When I asked for help I was approached by a team member Ash was her name who was so rude and
unattentive very poor customer service
Will not be shopping at your store again and will not recommend to friends or family

Don’t try to get anything laminated here…. they always say the paper is too thin or find some other reason to scare you off. I’ve had a few things done in the past, they were terribly slow (I had a few posters to laminate - I had to wait 20 minutes for the laminator to heat up and the staff member took her meal break half way through while I was made to wait!) It would be better if they just said they are willing to try to do it, but at your own risk, if they are worried about the result. I have laminated heaps of things at home without any issues. The staff at the counter are pretty rude, in my opinion.
No matter time of the day I go there, the staff are always helpful & ready to supply advice. I am able to obtain most stationary supplies for my business from this store. There is plenty of parking.
