Had my sons 1st birthday here, service was great and plenty of food. Only let down was it was a cold day and the garden room didn't have heating so we were moved inside and they don't have high chairs. It was also a little on the pricey side but I guess it's the area you are paying for. The kids garden is walking distance so this was a bonus. But the food was great and there was plenty of it. Service was also great.

We have been here a few times and we have found the staff to be rude. The prices are through the roof. The cafe is in a good location but the actual place is a little out dated.

We have just had our twins 3 yo birthday party here on the weekend. Hired out the beautiful glass room adjoined to the cafe. It was free to hire the room exclusively as long as we met a minimum spend which was affordable. The guests had a great time and the kids loved the childrens garden which was only a short walk away. We were pleasantly suprised by the food and the service on the day, which were both great. Highly recommended for parties.
We met some friends with a small child here for breakfast. You have to queue to be served and you need to wait for your own coffee. (They manage to bring food to the tables, but not coffee for some crazy reason) The location is great, but the service is poor. The quality of the food isn't anything remarkable. At $9 for muselli, I expect something special. Too crowded to enjoy.
The cafe has a range of seating from long tables with bench seats, small, two and four person tables and plenty of outdoor seating under umbrellas. The menu is small and doesn't vary much but there is enough variety for repeat visits. A few different salads, sandwiches, biscuits and hot things too. Looks like there are regulars for breakfast (museli, fresh fruit salad & yoghurt, toast, cooked breakfast) but day time trade is more touristy.
