Have loved this pub for many years. It is a beautiful old building for one, well set up with various indoor and outdoor areas. It is gorgeous here on a sunny afternoon, although nights have a great vibe also. Every meal has been excellent. We recently had an order mixed up during a very busy lunch session (Mother's day), the staff were awesome and fixed the problem immediately plus gave us a free glass of wine and a part refund. Well handled Norfolk :)

Great pub with lots of outdoor seating with heating outside in the winter. Can get very busy tho and have found it hard to get tables at times. The service could be better as we've had to wait awhile for food and drinks at times. Perhaps could hire more staff on busy times? Food has always been lovely, burgers, pizzas and steaks have all been good. A little pricey for drinks but then again most pubs are all pricey these days.

Approximate cost: $20-30

This hotel is a great local pub in the Heart of Fremantle. The menu is modern, with great classics like fish and chips, and steaks, but also some great dishes like chicken salads that use delicious local produce. Drinks can be bought when ordering, and they are in the entertainment book.

Approximate cost: $35

My wife and I recently went to the norfolk hotel in fremantle where we had a few drinks and a gourmet pizza the wait was a little long for the food but tasted really good, the beer was nice and cold and the atmosphere very friendly the only problem was the male toilets were a bit dirty, besides that a nice place.

This place is a bit of an icon in Freo and one of my regular pubs. The pubgrub is better than most if not a little pricey and the service is quite quick, although groups will find the food coming at different times from the two kitchens.

They have a good selection of beers on and off tap but typically unless you are a gorgeuos woman or very attractive bloke then you can forget quick service at the bar, alas I am neither...

The two big courtyards are heated in winter and well fanned in summer; it is one of the best places in Freo for a relaxing mid afternoon beer.

This place is just off the "cappucino strip" but gets very busy and noisy at times but the live music and dj's in "the basement" just down the stairs are pretty decent.

Went with hubby on a Saturday for lunch and we really had a nice meal, it was quite busy as expected but the food came out reasonably quick and was of good quality, hot, fresh etc. Beers were nice, had the staff recommend an SSB to me which was also really good. We stayed for longer than expected as it was so relaxing and just a nice, vibrant and happy atmosphere

Very crowded but that is for good reason. The Norfolk has an absolutely fantastic atmosphere. The people are friendly and talkative, no anger to be seen. Service can be a little slow because of the crowds. Constantly attracting fantastic live bands, one of the best spots in Freo.

Beautiful beers in a beer garden served by funky friendly staff. Great (slightly costly) menu.

It's a fantastic people watching venue.

The Norfolk Basement, downstairs has live bands and often a Uve DJ plays upstairs on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

Sitting on the corner of South Terrace, pretty close to the Anglican church opposite, Norfolk Hotel gives a rather victorian feel. I tried the pizza - think it was pretty bland.

Had lunch here today. The bruschetta was lovely and made with fresh, ripe tomatoes. The fish and chips also good - fish was fresh and of good quality. Steak burger was a bit middle of the road. The hand cut chips that accompanied both mains were ordinary - soggy and way too oily. Lovely, laid back atmosphere though and for this reason alone I'd come back if visiting Freo. Service was quick but inattentive - the glasses were cleared but no one came to wipe down the table.

The food is good, definitely above average pub fare. It's a bit annoying if when you're with a large group, since there are 2 kitchens your meals will come out ar different times.

I've been to the Norfolk a number of times for lunch. The food is good - the pizzas and steak sandwiches are the best, but the service times and wait times are often a little longer than I'd like for lunch (especially if on a work lunch break). The outdoor area is well decorated and a great place to relax.

Great atmosphere and great food right in the heart of fremantle. Very upmarket pub food but great. It's a really nice spot to relax on a friday with a few friends and easy to move on into fremantle afterwards.

Great pub in Freo that is always busy. They have great food and a nice wine list. They also have a good selection of WA beers. Would recommend visiting here.
