I had a Cornish pastie there last Sunday and was very disappointed. I had been told it was the best bakery to try one and found the meat stringy and chewy and not at all to my taste. I could only eat half and discarded the rest. If they make them to the original Cornish recipe then the Miners must of been hungry.
Have visited here a few times when looking for a quick lunch. Always get the Cornish pasties as they are amazing! They have a wide range of other baked goods, pies, pasties, sausage rolls (the outback pie looks delicious - i must try it some time), plus fresh bread and sweets such as vanilla slice, huge laminations and other cakes and pastries. Reasonably priced and staff always greet you with a smile. Definitely worth the stop for lunch of you're in Moonta.
