Extremely disappointed at the quality of food plus is over priced for what you get.
Ordered satay beef which was chewy and tasteless, combination chow mein was bland, and the ham and chicken rolls were revolting.
Not like it used to be.

Very slow service. Poor range of wine, they didn't have any of the 4 wines I ordered so eventually they brought out the only 2 bottles they had available. Food was standard. When I paid the bill I noticed that they charged $130/kg for mud crab I ask if that was correct, paid and left. Pretty certain the market price even in the city is at $90/kg. I feel like they will cheat and take short cuts when possible. I will definitely not return.

Recently visited this Restaurant for Mothers Day dinner, it was just the 4 of us, we didn't have a booking, but they welcomed us and were happy to take our orders.

Very friendly service, happy to assist, freshly made food, tasty and presentable.

It had been years since I had been here, the view from the dinning room is great, feels like your somewhere else.

Been here a few times with my aunty and it never fails. Great food and location, excellent service and a large menu. They don't deliver but take away is quick. The pork fillet with five spice is awesome and also Mongolian lamb! Not sloppy gluggy just fresh and tasty!

New Empress restaurant had been around since the late 80's or early 90's before all other Chinese restaurants at Eastwood and surrounding area.

I went there one night with my husband and was pretty skeptical in the beginning with the out-dated furniture and was not expecting much.

I was wrong.. we totally enjoyed the food very much and it was great Chinese food too. Loved the Peking sauce pork ribs, chow mien noodles and everything was very fresh.

Service was excellent and very attentive.

Had been back there a few more times and definitely highly recommend it to others and will go back again.

The service was so good and fast! We went for lunch with a big group of colleagues. Most of our ordered food came out the same time which was great. Generous in size and flavour. We were very satisfied and will go back anytime.
