I've moved a few times, and NW Freight are the best movers I have ever had. They were friendly, highly professional, helpful, reliable, cost effective, and significantly reduced the overall stress of moving from Adelaide back to Rye in Victoria. There were a couple of aspects about my move that I thought could be a problem, but they handled everything smoothly like it was all in a day's work. Their punctuality and reliability were first class. They arrived about 5 minutes early, and had my entire apartment including training gear and kayak, packed up nicely in about 45 minutes. Awesome. Everything was very well looked after and packed. Everything arrived here in good shape; glassware, furniture, bicycles and even a handful of pot plants. Before choosing I sought a total of 6 quotes. They were one of the two lowest, yet their 5 star level of expertise would be worthwhile even if that were not the case. Its interesting to me that the lowest two quotes were also the most courteous, and NW was also the most efficient and prompt. Another reason for my choice is that they were recommended by a friend, and all of his compliments were accurate. I highly recommend them for anyone moving regardless of destination. I think they would also be a good first contact for advice on any logistics or transport issue. There is a certain relaxed feeling when you deal with people who really know their stuff, and that is the feeling I had, and have. Readers of this review may be considering the cost factor. The lower two quotes were almost a thousand cheaper than the uppermost two quotes. Hiring a truck myself, would have failed to cover the total number of cubic metres, but even if it had, would have been barely cheaper and depending on fuel and possibly a return trip; would have actually been more expensive as well as involving the risk of driving a large unfamiliar vehicle a very long way. This was the best option by a long shot.

Noel, Fran and the team moved me from regional Victoria to Adelaide for a university position nearly five years ago. It was a very stressful time in many ways, with COVID-19 in the mix. Reading all the positive reviews about them, coupled with the friendly and informative communications with Fran and Noel, made me decide to book them for my move. On moving day, the team was simply fantastic. They treated me and my possessions with respect, and worked efficiently. That evening, they unpacked in Adelaide under difficult conditions (the electricity company hadn't yet turned on my power, so we ran an extension cord from a neighbour's property so at least we had lamp-light). The team took it all in their stride and made sure everything was done well, including putting my bed together despite the poor light, so that I could sleep after a long day. My time in Adelaide is drawing to a close and I have booked the team to move me back home in a couple of months. Booking them again was such an easy decision. I highly recommend N W Freight.

Very friendly and prompt communication, however the damage to my furniture and the price were disappointing to say the least. Dented my refrigerator and large oil stain on my cream coloured couch.

The job took a long time despite 3x people coming out to move my little 2 bed flat. The team took a break in the middle to complete short job in the same area which was not agreed upon prior.

To their credit, they did fit me in on a short notice, and were very friendly, but the damage to the fridge and couch were incredibly disappointing.

Noel and his team were on time, well priced, handled my goods with care, bent over backwards to provide a terrific service, were extremely professional and just a lovely bunch of honest, decent, respectful, hard working people. Moving is no fun - let's face it - but Noel and his team were jovial, made plenty of jokes and made it fun whilst working super hard. I would not hesitate to use them again and cannot recommend them highly enough. Loved your work guys and BIG BIG thank you for taking on the job and moving us hundreds of KM away with all our stuff!

Where do I start. Fran and Noel are great. I was moving from Goolwa SA to Buronga NSW right in the middle of border restrictions and a heat wave. From the very start where they responded to my quote request,(which was very competitive), very quickly, through to the delivery of my items

They were punctual both on pick up and delivery. Nothing was too much trouble.

NW freight was outstanding in helping us move recently. We moved on 8 December from our farm to a residential property in the Adelaide Hills. They initially came to give us a free quote, they followed up beforehand to reassure us all was on track and the move in the day was seamless. Absolutely no damage and they reassembled furniture for us at the other end and put everything carefully in place, even installed the washing machine and dryer! And they we were all friendly and easy going. Their price was also amazing.We can’t recommend NW Freight highly enough!

N W Freight has to be the most professional removalist company that I have dealt with. I was literally let down by another company on the day, in panic mode I started ringing around and found N W Freight. Fran spoke to Noel about my predicament and together they juggled staff around just to help me out. The guys that picked up and delivered were thorough gentleman and so committed to safety. Last week Noel relocated my daughters house goods from Adelaide to Melbourne. He delivered them to their first floor apartment and set up the washing machine, TV and bedroom suite. Everything was delivered on time and nothing broken. Nothing was too much trouble for Noel, very professional and caring.
