We first heard about Callum by word-of-mouth recommendation. As a result, we hired him for a couple of substantial plumbing jobs around our house.

On the first occasion, a couple of years ago, we got him to install new vanities and WCs in both our main bathroom and in our ensuite. Callum did a very neat and effective job. He even went to the trouble of accompanying us to the showrooms beforehand to advise us on picking the most suitable fixtures.

So we did not hesitate to hire him again this year when we needed an outdoor garden tap installed. This was another tricky job, requiring a connection from the outer wall through the roof to the existing plumbing, further complicated by the need for a T-junction to join with a different gauge of pipe.

Once again, Callum accomplished this expertly, after listening to our requirements and suggesting the most workable options.

Following that, we also got him to complete a paint job on an interior wall we had started ourselves, but were unable to get a perfectly even finish to it, even after several coats. Callum succeeded in finishing it perfectly with one more coat, paying attention to every detail, including touching up the trim, and exceeding our expections.

Callum shows a genuine desire to fulfil the needs of his customers, and takes care to ensure that the work is completed to the highest possible standard.

We have used Multi Trades for the maintenance of all 3 of our investment properties as well as our own house. Callum has always turned up at the time designated, prepared and able to begin work immediately. His workmanship and attention to detail is completed to an exceptionally high standard, at no stage has he cut corners to get the jobs done. He has worked in with our electrician so as to facilitate the timely interaction of various facets of the jobs to avoid any duplication of processes. Jobs that he has done for us include(by no means a complete list); re roofing 1 house (corrugated iron), complete rebuild of a kitchen (stripped out to a bare shell, even had to take up the floor), plastering; walls, ceilings and cornice (complete house after all of the horsehair plaster was removed), painting, tiling; wall and floor, remove/rehang doors, supply and fit Evaporative Air Coolers in 2 of the properties, landscaping including building block walls, wicking garden beds, fencing and gate building etc. I would thoroughly recommend this firm for any work that needs to be done on any property.
